AMC: The Prospect Park Era (old production thread)

Given the events and players surrounding that period and those rumors, I began to seriously doubt Burton Armus actually existed and wasn't simply a stalking horse for someone else. Now I know he does, but it was a weird period. I'd still like to know about that bible. Wasn't Brooke established to still be running Tempo when Lorraine Broderick brought her back?

Robert Newman, I thought, was ideal for OLTL myself, but that's territoriality talking. Such a great, subtle actor.

I assume Jennifer Bassey will be used on a recurring basis. I had thought it was confirmed, I guess not.

I'm sure she'll be back to AMC at some point. With David Canary there, Stuart's bound to make an appearance.

I never knew that woman played both roles. I don't even remember Zack's mother, it's been so long since I've watched (didn't she disappear after one or two seasons?), but I loved Elyse. She was a great bitch, not for some vendetta but just because of her career, which AMC excelled at in that era. When she went after boring people like Noah and Julia I was sort of rooting for her.

laugh.png I loved it when All My Children would incorporate these regular recurring characters, like Elise Flynn or Olga Swenson, into storylines.

On a related note, it was great to see Winifred in the final episode. I wonder if she'll make another appearance. Hopefully JR didn't shoot and kill her.

It appears Peg Murray (who played Erica's agent, Olga) is still living.... but she's 89, so doubtful we'll ever see her again. When was her last appearance? Maybe 1997ish?

She looks more like Melody Rogers aka Elise Flynn or aka Zack Morris's mom.

I met her back in 98, while we were waiting for a table at Ruby Tuesday in the mall. Had no idea she was Zack's mother. I just saw an episode with her a few weeks ago, when they were using fake IDs to go to the 18+ club to spy on Kelly's boyfriend.

My favorite was Brooke becoming a late-in-life lesbian.

Maybe Michael Lowry again or Jon Hensley. He auditioned for the part in 1996. Just not J Eddie Peck, TY

That's nice. But he looks older than all of them with that hair. And Jake is a character played and written substantially younger by men who do not look their age.
