Loved the interview, thanks for sharing. I like that all of the generations will be mixed together. I am so glad Julia and Brooke are a part of this as well.

I like how mixed in she is with everybody. How it should be. Nice read even though she couldn't give away too much lol.

Cheap, when I saw Tontz's boyfriend's handwriting, I immediately thought of you and one of your favorite memes:

I LOVE Francesca James so I am curious about the whole Evelyn story. If it's a big dramatic thing I can see her turning in some powerhouse performances.

I'm probably most intrigued by this story just given the casting. It will be really interesting if there is zero reference to Kitty/Kelly and they're just giving a fresh new part to a talented person that they trust. Kitty/Kelly is pretty iconic for AMC, so it's not exactly like Roy Thinnes doing two stints on OLTL.

Enjoyed reading that. Thanks!

I think it's a good move to have Brooke interacting a lot with the newbies. It was when Brooke started taking CS's Amanda under her wing that I started to care about the character (of course that development was cut very short).

When she mentions knowing Cady since she was 17, wow. Where do the years go...

Who'd have thought Julia Barr would end up the face of AMC in 2013?

I wonder if

Adam postponed it in part, at least, due to J.R. apparently ending up in a coma. I can imagine him being rather tortured about this incident occurring on the night of his engagement.

A 5-year engagement is pretty long.

I wonder what the story is there.

Apparently FJ and Marlene McP became friends when they were at Days together in the early 90s, so the idea to bring her on probably wasn't just Agnes Nixon's.

LOVE Francesca also! She is such a sweet, kind woman. Can't wait to see her again on AMC.

I am really curious to see how David Canary plays Adam this time around. Adam mellowed tremendously both with age and because of Stuart's death, and Brooke sort of became the driving force in their relationship, holding him together. With Stuart alive and presumably well, is Adam back to his old scheming self? And if he is, is Brooke willing to commit to marrying him again, or does that make her hesitant?

And Cady is now older than Julia Barr was when they first starting working together.

I saw another post where someone noted that Cady is also around the same age that Jill L. was when she took over as Opal, and that the age difference between Cady and Ryan is around the same age difference between Jill and MEK.

I always thought that had more potential than Maria/Zach! I wouldn't mind seeing that footage either!

I suggested to VI that he get permission from ABC to auction off the David/Maria sex tape for his charities. I think it would have raised beaucoups of bucks and made one fan VERY happy! :) But greedy ABC wouldn't let go of it. Wouldn't it be a hoot if it showed up on Hulu/Hulu Plus, iTunes, or the TOLN Extras You Tube site, because PP did buy the rights to show all available AMC 1.0 footage? I know I'd pay whatever it took to see two of my faves together and my favorite AMC episodes from the past! :)

JB notes that they are still very much in love, but I suspect the long engagement is a combination of the limbo caused by JR's coma, and Brooke feeling they are committed to each other whether it be an engagement or marriage. You also have to wonder if Brooke technically owning the house, and not being married to Adam, will also play into the story at some point.

Personally, I think Adam hasn't been up to much scheming with JR in the coma, but that could change slightly with his revival. I would like to see Brooke and Adam eventually marry in a lavish wedding since they never had a big-to-do event, and since they have been together, on and off, over a period of 25 (30 years with the 5 year jump) - it would seem about damn time!

Cady was born in 1969. Ryan Bittle in 1976 & Eric Nelsen in 1991
