Members VirginiaHamilton
I see no reason why Sly couldn't have stuck around.

Members Vee
He should have. He was on well into his teens in '96, with Lucky and Emily. Years ago in college, around 2001 or 2002, I concocted an elaborate plot in which Sly would return and become a part of the fabric of the Spencer family again, only to be revealed as a mole for Helena Cassadine, embittered by the death of his father in lieu of Luke and a hard life since, having felt abandoned by his adoptive family. He would eventually waver and go back to the bosom of the family, having been manipulated by Helena. I still think that's a character they should never have discarded. Members VirginiaHamilton
Robin, Mac, and Felicia! Amazing how well both KW, JJY & KMc's looks have held up over the past 20 years.
Members Vee
I started watching GH full-time around the time Luke and Laura returned. The publicity was everywhere and I was fascinated. I was eleven or twelve.
Members dragonflies
I couldn't stand Cari Shaye's Karen. the best Karen was Jennifer Hammon on Port Charles
Members VirginiaHamilton
On another note, I'm not seeing how folks can see Mac & Felicia as 'snoozeworthy' at all. They have a sweet chemistry that made them light up the screen - a quality that is underrated in soaps today, IMO.
Members Darn
I've always loved Mac. He's the last good guy on soaps. I think he deserves a woman who appreciates him and that's not Felicia.
Members Vee
I think the Felicia of the last year has appreciated Mac. I pray Ron doesn't undo that for his nostalgia trip, but I'm not holding my breath. Mac and Felicia were snoozeworthy in later years, but not in the mid-'90s. And even so, Mac never deserved what Felicia did to him or what he got from Guza. I'd forgotten Thom Racina wrote these classic '81 episodes.
