did you not read the thread last week? The final arc of PC , The Gift, revolved around a magical ring which granted wishes. Caleb was the last person in possession of it if I remember correctly. I even posted the clip of Livvie making her wish which resulted in Rafe's conception

Well, MB pretty much always tows the company line and rarely says he dislikes things. Angel/Lady in White story aside. I may be in the minority in hating the Sonny story. Perhaps it's the S&B fangirl in me that can't accept this Kate nonsense. I would probably be eating it up if Brenda replaced Kate in this, but to me that makes sense given their history that we SEEN on GH. It is what it is, I suppose, but I don't think this is the 'real' Sonny. I think the writing for Konnie may be the true issue I have with Sonny. Konnie has his balls in her purse and that just seems really off to me. Maybe it's the girl in the story moreso than the story.

Fair enough. But I don't think Skate 2.0 is far off from being endgame. Ron has no grasp on the Sonny character and he certainly doesn't give a [!@#$%^&*] about Brenda as far as I can tell. Konnie/KSu is a star to him and I just don't see this ending well for Sonny or his fans. OTOH, I totally get your point. My love for Sonny has gradually dissipated over the years to almost nothing, but I still have a soft spot for him. He hasn't been written well in a decade and half, but what Ron is doing is just so off. Sonny was glorified too much and certainly had his faults, but Guza still seemed to have a better grasp on him despite his worship than Ron.

Oh, he'd better give a sh!t about Brenda when she returns or else I will unleash a rage onto his ass like no other. I didn't invest as much time as I have in this show to not get a happy ending for my S&B. My guess is, when this show gets cancelled / if MB decides not to renew, Konnie will be a distant memory as soon as my girl returns. If I'm right about this, then I'm OK with Ron biding his time with Sonny until VM returns. It's not like he's the first character to be put in this position.

As for Guza having a better grasp on him than Ron, I strongly beg to differ. Had Guza had any grasp on Sonny Corinthos, I would've have never seen him side with the Slagbeast - who he rightly loathed - over Robin, the girl that he'd promised his dying best friend, Stone, to look after after he passed.

Okay, I will start with the Brenda thing. I don't have high hopes. She is currently not a factor at all and her name really isn't bandied about much as a possible return. My heart will be very sad if they don't reunite S&B in a satisfying way, but I will always have my memories.

Next I will go to the Robin thing. When you are right you are right. It was out of character for Sonny, but I think, glorification aside, Guza had a better grasp on the Sonny character. Ron has done nothing to indicate he gets him. Guza Tony Soprano'ed the [!@#$%^&*] out of him and played up his worst traits, but in a weird way I could see Sonny becoming what he did under Guza. I didn't like it, but I could see it. After all we went through with Carly, Brenda, et all I just don't see him acting like this with Kate. We may have to agree to disagree on this one. Don't worry we'll always have S&B as a couple to agree on.
