I see 3 positives here...

1. Alison has kicked the bucket.

2. Sam actually gets to do her job for the greater good instead of being a gummy mob floozy.

3. The police are actually portrayed as competent (one of the best improvements that Cartini have made for this show, even if vets and McBain had to be brought in to make that happen).

WTF? Who dies? And whose that little boy?
