HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

In your opinion... (And I thought you weren't watching either during their last year tongue.png ) AMC had the better final week, if you ask me.

And I thought you knew me better than that.wink.png

If Cosgrove joined it would be cancelled within a year.

Showkilla.

LOL I thought of that

I thought they had a lot of chemistry in the end--which kinda surprised me.

They really did :)

Personally, I think OLTL was more grounded than AMC in their last months before and after the cancellation announcement. I did feel that AMC's final week was more of a finale than OLTL's though. The gunshot and the irony of it involving a character named JR just made it more suspenseful, whereas Victor Jr. being alive was just a soap opera cliche.

Ugh. I'm thrilled that these shows are being revived but as a P&G boy, I want my World Turns and Guiding Light back. Damn Procter and Gamble to h*ll for not selling the rights.

I am convinced she is the new Brenda Dixon!

Now that's someone I'd like to see on the new AMC (Brenda Dickson, not Farah Fath). Granted, Miss Brenda would have to agree to stay on her meds. But couldn't you just imagine her going toe-to-toe with Erica as back-from-the-dead Silver?
