HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

I think they can be a bit less careful about what words they use, and AMC (random shot of Scott coming out of a shower aside) was kinda notorious during its last years for having less flesh on screen than nearly any other soap since the 70s, but the show wouldn't really benefit from anything more than that (and by language I don't mean actual swearing, just that I know even in the later years there was a lot of network censorship about what words could be used--for instance in the past decade they seem to think abortion has become a naughty word and always use a euphenism).

I'm not a prude but I think the shows would be best served by sticking to basic cable standards for language/nudity. You can have good drama without going R-rated. Look at Breaking Bad or Mad Men. Of course we aren't talking about that kind of storytelling but If the stories are compelling, then the language is a secondary concern. Nudity strikes me as a potential pitfall. I'm not tuning in to the Pine Valley version of Red Shoe Diaries.

I don't care if they had profanity/tasteful nudity as long as it was not gratuitous and right for the story. I don't really think they will do much if any of that, though.

Love that Debbi has signed on as I still have a crush on herwub.png

If this goes off, I wonder if they would have people come back for flashbacks even if they don't sign on for the show at large?
