HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Oh, I didn't know you changed your name.

I liked 'SoapBoy'...but 'Mr. Vixen' sounds sickening (in a good way).

Sounds like a female diva to me...LOL

Any chance that MAB could be the HW for AMC? I remember reading a few weeks back that she'd been jonesing for the showrunner role that eventually went to Ginger Smith. Wonder if she's going to be part of the AMC writing team in some capacity. The self-proclaimed protege of Bill Bell collaborating with Agnes...something very surreal about that.

First line of dialogue on OLTL 2.0: "I just love what you've done with Llanfair, Viki!"

I didn't however I did the blue couch which I think was at the Buchanan mansion, along with the stuff from St. James Church.

Scotty, the blue velvety couch is from Llanfair, not Asa's house. I hope that Llanfair gets a makeover, but that the structure of it stays the same.

When you can make SON post-ers squirm? You know you've crossed some lines.

Please, as if I have a fetish for elderly women's undergarments.

Now I know how Eric felt about the lube business. SMH.

That's right. I knew it was from one or the other but couldn't remember right off.

What was that you were saying about fifty pages, Khan?

Hey, I didn't say I didn't play any part in the frequent asides, detours and diversions that have come to characterize this thread.

I dont know, because MAB is fi-core.. and from what I hear, PP decided to make a deal with the WGA after looking at their fi-core options. I can see PP employing PP due to the fact that she did have some good ideas, but I think she needs to be paired with someone who knows how to take those ideas and pace them accordingly.

I dont think they presented a bible (due to casts not being signed), but I wonder if perhaps they did a rough vision/outline of how they saw the show and what potential direction they wanted to take the show. If she presented ideas to PP that were similiar to her ideas at DAYS, then I can see why they are receptive to her (i.e PTSD, gay stories, dysfunctional families, father complex character (which I think Madison was suppose to be before the network interfered, imho).
