HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

I'll give you that wink.png. There's another SeeYouNextTuesday out there, but she's just an ignorant bitch. The one I'm referring to at least looks hot!

In all seriousness, Errol--you're doing better and harder work on getting the facts about this all out to us than anyone else on the various blogs, etc. If that sounds like sucking up, so be it--but it's appreciated.

Let me correct myself.

Spinning... And here I thought you were straight. It is really getting hard to keep track of the fluid sexuality of (at least the male) members of this forum. :P

I Forgot. Is that the song on the show Parenthood?? My mother stands up in front of the TV and dances to the song everytime the show/theme comes on.....

Your household really should be the centerpiece of a southern gothic satire. Please tell me she wears trashy lingerie and garish makeup while doing so.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I like to get the story straight from the source and not second hand, or at least clear things up with a publicist or the representing body before posting about a topic already being discussed. It's something I've always treasured about journalism that is seriously lacking when it comes to the soap business, especially when compared to the 1990's.

And it's completely not the way most people in charge of soap forums or blogs work--especially since the AMC/OLTL cancelation when stating personal guessing and opinion as fact (I blame that twittering thingamabob I don't do as well) seemed to become the norm, for whatever reason.

The downside (among several) is I that I think companies like PP are well aware of all the interest and speculation that goes on online--and so think they don't have to worry as much about official statements.
