I think he grew up to be such a hottie.

Who is he?

Oprah loved ALL MY CHILDREN, too, although she likes to pretend sometimes that she didn't. ("Who was that girl who went out with Greg again? What was her name? Jen?" Bitch, please, you know damn well what her name was. Stop frontin'.)

Aretha watches Y&R, and although she once called soap operas "stupid," I know for a fact Whitney Houston watched AMC before she became WHITNEY HOUSTON.

Who is he?

Sammy Davis Jr. was a huge GH & Leslie Charleson fan.

Vincent Pastore told me that those "Everybody's Got Their Something" commercials were fake and he had never watched GH.

This reminds me of when SOD interviewed Halle Berry for one of those "Look Who Loves the Soaps" articles and it turned out Halle didn't really love 'em, she was just looking for publicity.

Not much has changed I see...

I cringe when soap stars are on talk shows and the hosts act like they are fans and screw up questions/information.

I remember when AMC moved to LA and they had The View special and Whoopi asked them about black love interests and it got awkward LOL

Does anyone remember what the question was?

For some reason, I see Dolly Parton being more of a GUIDING LIGHT fan, like Dale and Roy Rogers.

Of course, we all know about Rosie O'Donnell's fixation on all things RYAN'S HOPE. That show, along with AMC, pulled her through her rough childhood, apparently.

Almost forgot: Judy Garland? Loved ANOTHER WORLD so much, she called out Constance Ford (Ada) in the middle of one of her concerts. (Me: "If Connie Ford was at a Judy Garland concert, does that mean...? Naaaaah!")

SHe seemed to genuinely know the entire ABC lineup, but those two the best. And Oprah did seem to be a genuine fan up till the 80s when she got so busy, I guess.

Liberace was a Y&R fan.

SOD did a series on celebs who watched soaps back in the 80's.

Bette Davis said her mother watched them and she at first was dismissive, but then got hooked,I recall she mentioned Kathryn Hays as one of her faves.
