I'd say they are more "Olive Garden Italian" than actual Italian.

What nationality is Sonny supposed to be?

Olivia and Connie are Italian right?

I'd say they are more "Olive Garden Italian" than actual Italian.

The Greek comes from a comment Todd made when he heard the last name Corinthos around the time he joined and I just chalked that up to him being an uninformed sarcastic newbie who didnt know Sonny

Sonny's dad. Who is probably Ethiopian at this point. ;)

They never seemed believable as father and son to me.

I have to agree with that. I think I needed to see Sonny's mom at some point to finish the equation even though I figured what she looked like. I never thought Mona and Erica particularly resembled one another either. Robin Strasser said the same about her and Connie Ford and when they cast her dad Gerald, then we saw where the swarthiness came from.

I just wish they would make the kid look like he could come from a latino father and especially one with as heavy features as Sonny. They seem to make him appear more "caucasion" for lack of a better word with each recast. The blue eyes seems like they are heading in that direction

ITA he went from a little latino baby who looked like his father to a pale brunette with hazel eyes.

Besides this cutie was the only Morgan I liked anyway

Kristina looks more like Sonny now finally I say cast a latino actor as Morgan

Sonny is Cuban. His mother was born in Cuba and moved to the US as a child. I remember that from one of his many stories and I remember flashbacks where she looked obviously latino.

Also when Maurice was on AMC back in the 80s (and was SOOOOOOOO much more appealing, IMHO), he played Nico, which could be Italian or Greek, I suppose.
