I agree Khan..Didnt they do a Laura lookalike back in the '80's with Janine Turner in the role? I also thought that the hooker named Summer Luke was involved with bore somewhat of a resemblance to Genie Francis. The show so missed the boat by bringing Francis back and having her tied to Summer somehow.

Scotty was involved in that mess, though, so that might be tough to do. You could say Rick wasn't really Rick when it happened, but that just opens a whole other can of worms.

Neither do I. Nor do I understand ret-conning Rick Webber as a serial adulterer in the first place. Longtime GH fans remember too well his being caught between Lesley and Monica. But, Pratt obviously was intent on recycling a plot from MELROSE PLACE, so I guess there was nothing to be done.

If they were to bring Genie back as Laura, I would like to see Laura as a confident business woman, who is friends with Luke and they can all be together without romance with their children and grandchildren. I'd definitely like to see it revealed that Laura is married or still involved with Scott Baldwin (opening the door for him to come to town later on) and explore their dynamics as a couple with her ties to Luke through Lucky and Lulu.
