I need Rachel Melvin to be right behind him. We have quite a few males in that age category already and then there's....Gabi and (the seemingly invisible) Abby.

its hard to speculate what he would be returning for given how far ahead days is. right now abby has nothing but will that be so in 3-5 months? Gabi would be giving birth at that time so shed still be wrapped up with nick and sonny/will.

The only thing I disliked about Max was the pairing with Stephanie and sudden Max is a genuis plot. Let's hope he hit is head and is a whore again.

Without Bo and Billie, I really doubt we would get Chelsea.

Probably true but I think there's more to her than who her parents are. I think with them gone, they could use this as an oppurtunity to establish/strengthen her relationships with other people in her family to act as surrogates of sorts like Kate, Hope or even Sami. I think theres interesting dynamics that could be played off with any of them. Its been stated plenty of times but her age group is lacking on the show

Nothing there says it would be anything long-term or even recurring. It could just be for a day or two. But I do like Max and would welcome the return if for a good reason.

Could Darin Brooks' Max be on the way back in?

I hope not. DAYS has actors on now they don't have a clue what to do with.
