They never wrote lit as if anythin was wrong with her and I prefer it if there wasnt. At least when Lucky was on, they talked about talking to her and I think Nik went to go see her during his time off.

No you dont, but it is what it is and thats how they proceeded to do it

Or better yet, neither of them is his father. Oh and I dont see Luke getting his ass kicked. If that were to have happened, it occurred offscreen as Robert already learned and dealt with that. They really shouldnt focus on Ethan with this return. Let it be all about Robin and Anna

Ron does this all the time, though - he'll hook people up for expediency's sake if he can't get what he really wants right away. He used to [!@#$%^&*] around with timefillers like this on OLTL a lot. The Clint and Nora romance worked for a while because it was actually well-written and Jerry ver Dorn and Hillary Smith played the hell out of it, but in the end it was a positioning thing which gave Nora and Clint key roles again, IMO ultimately designed to lead back to Bo and Nora's reunion as a supercouple. A lot of the time, he'll look at plot before character. With Clint and Nora it mostly worked because neither character had been gutted like Luke, here it just stank.

At this time Genie was still at Y&R and showed no signs of being fired. I think they actually did pair Anna/Luke for real, since they are (compared to others on the show) in a somewhat similar age bracket. If Laura comes back and this is over then that's great, but I think the initial idea was a real relationship.

Whatever the reason to break them up, I hope it happens. I don't really have a vested interest in who Anna is with, I just don't want her with Luke. It's like needing an endless Silkwood shower.

Look, Leslie Charleson has plenty to do on the show, and Carrie Fisher (who has mangled her face in the last few years) is about to turn up in Star Wars: Episode VII, so I think Jackie's got a good shot. Hopefully she - and Fisher - will fix their faces.
