October 18, 201213 yr Member From twop So Katherine is 100% Team Victor and turns on Jack Abbott. Jack is pissed that Katherine has picked sides against him and not wanting to lose their friendship he decides to get her back into business. He knows that Neil is CEO of Chancellor and decides to offer Neil the CEO position of Jabot! This way Katherine can attend to Chancellor and not think about their Newman/Abbott war. Neil accepts the position and it royally pisses off Billy and Cane. Billy is especially pissed because he knew Jack wouldn't focus on Jabot. And he knew Billy wanted it. Jack doesn't see the big deal. He also talks about the Newmans. He is happy that Victor is down and out. He also isn't concerned about Victoria or Nicholas. He thinks he will be able to repair his relationship with both of them with time. PB talks about how Jack is extremely cocky and while on his high makes rash decisions that will probably lead to his own downfall, but for now he is sitting pretty at the top.
October 18, 201213 yr Member I do hope the writing heavily mentions that Victor owned Jabot for a good chunk of the 90s. I don't want this portrayed as evil Jack against the Newman's. He DOES have good reason to both do this and be against Victor.

October 18, 201213 yr Member Okay, I'm still a few episodes behind, but after how they handled Phyllis/Christine, I wasn't sure if they would be upfront about the Newman/Jabot wars or simply make Jack out to be the villain. Good to hear they're handling it well so far.
October 18, 201213 yr Member Jack is the villain as usual cause there goes ghost dad telling Jack how wrong he is. Man whatever, team Jack. So that's how Neil becomes CEO of Jabot. I was wondering about that when I watched the Tyler Douglas audition. Here comes executive Lily. Edited October 18, 201213 yr by Taiah
October 18, 201213 yr Author Member Ehh no one pays attention to what Ghost John says. I wonder where Kyle is through all of this. Is he Team Jack or Team Victor? This is why we needed a recast for Lily. No way can CK pull of a businesswoman act.

Why would he even care about repairing his relationships with the brats? The days that he had any bond with them ended a long time ago, specifically when Nick nailed his wife. This is just the same old crap.

October 20, 201213 yr Member I'd like to see Jack go, and end the cycle. Stop writing based on Victor rivalries or who will lose to Victor, yet again. I'd also like to see Victoria and Nick go, bringing them back at a later date, with better writing, or better actors.
