It seems like so long. I always did like MarlandRulez. He was posting at other boards a few years ago, but I haven't seen him since.

I remember him returning recently and getting banned again...lol.....banned at SON equal to a firing of soaps content..lol...its never been dull around here at SON.

When Kenny relayed his story of coming out... it was just so *real*.

I'm depressed "Our Days" never happened... I submitted a script and everything, I was psyched.

Also remember the original Datalounge thread and what a buzz that caused?

I was a WoST member back when WoST and SON were "rivals". laugh.png About a year after WoST folded and my soap loving mom passed, I signed up here for some soapy soup for the soul, I guess.

I miss some posters who I no longer see around.

I started coming here when i was.. oh, i dont know, 14? im 25 now.

I think my favorite thread ever was the Jossip link about CH from SOD/SOW, that was good.

The Days murders was great. Vanessa Marcils first return to GH.

I don't think I was a SON member yet, but yeah, that Jossip thread was classic!

I miss Bellcurve and Sylph.

Anyone who was around about 2 years ago would probably NEVER expect me to say that.

But the recent rounds of SON crazies just can't compare. At least Bellcurve could have an intelligent (and entertaining) debate.

You of all people are crazy to miss Bellcurve. The guy (or girl) had it out for you and was just a troll attacking people under the mistaken assumption they had anything approaching a wit.

I know he/she had it out for me, and I definitely did NOT like them either. At all. In fact, for most of the time BC and I interacted, I *really* disliked him. Yes, he was rude and all that. But ever since BC left, we've just gotten a bunch of much more unhinged crazies that are really no competition. So I don't miss BC because we were friends, I just remember that at least when we argued, he was intelligent and coherent. That's more than can be said for the ones that have succeeded him.

So I guess "miss" was the wrong word. You're right, he was a rude troll. But I'd gladly take his return over a certain someone else here now.

I believe I joined in the summer of 2003. All of the soaps had large numbers of fans, the threads were always buzzing with discussion -- good or bad. Lots of community games, lost of polls, etc. SON was on and poppin' for a good little while, then other boards sprung up and people left, and then interest got smaller and smaller as we kept losing soaps.

I'll never forget all the hoopla surrounding Miss Hula Hoop.

I miss bellcurve, SteveFrame, Hartless, Ms. Walsh, Queen Nubia, Kenny, King, etc. The DAYS fans were wild

I miss MarkH. Not so much because I needed flow charts on the death of soaps and how soaps can never return, but because of all the Y&R analysis. I hated MAB and Sheffer's Y&R for many reasons and the endless ugliness on this board in 2009 is a big reason why.

SteveFrame was classic guy. He was a true gentleman. I miss him too. Hartless was a beauty and I am gay...lol....I remember chatting with her offline from SON. I remember having her email but I lost it. She was studying to be a doctor. I wonder if she is Dr. Hartless now.....miss her too.
