She sounds absolutely nothing like Liz Taylor. And her look during Liz's white diamonds era is hilarious. I guess any pretense for accuracy went out the window when they hired Lindsay. But I'll be glued to the TV when it comes on!

I can see I won't be watching this though I do watch a lot of awfully bad Lifetime movies. I have yet to see all of I Know Who Killed Me and I avoid their real life stories based on celebrities but will watch the ones based on non-celebrities such as Brad Lowe camping it up as Drew Peterson.

I think she looks great and from the bit we got to see of her in the clips, seems to really capture the role. I cannot wait!

when i first heard about this, i thought "oh hell no!" the girl is younger than me (i'm very early 30's), I think they could have picked someone older to play Elizabeth Taylor. maybe a more dramatic actress too. Although given Lindsey's life, i'm sure she's seen similarities.

but given Lifetime's history of "true stories", i will watch it because they usually are interesting. I loved Merridith Baxter as Betty Broderick and Cybil Shepherd as Martha Stuart.

I think Elizabeth Taylor would have taken it "with a grain of salt" and loved it. she had a good sense of humor about herself (you kind of had to with her life history.)

Anyone watch? The movie got panned. Even Wendy Williams, who's been hyping this since it was announced, gave it a 2

I'm torn.

On one hand, I refuse to pay any attention to any shiteous movie that 'pays homage' to one of the baddest chicks in Hollywood history.

On the other, the commercials make this look like a stinking mess of Cool as Ice proportions...

Anyone watch?

Nope. Both professionally and personally, Lindsay Lohan is going down in flames, and I refuse to stand and watch.
