OH I WAS SO AFRAID OF THIS :(

NBC was on such a role and just going by these dailies Days and Passions will be back down to like 2.7 and 1.7 respectively. I mean its no big deal since both shows have been steadily getting viewers back and having the occasional off week, which is what this is and why I was afraid to see these numbers, but I would have liked to see them both stand pat in HH. Both shows were good last week its just that there was nothing attention getting about them. This weel was far better for both since Days had all the courtroom drama and Hope learning the truth and Passions had the Theresa twist.

I guess its ok-after all they did hold on to most of what they have gained since the middle of fall and you can't go up every week. NBC had a nice roll there and it had to break sooner or later. I think the numbers for this weel will be better.

The other shows don't look like they fared much better either so that makes me feel a little better about NBC. Must just be one of those weeks for daytime I guess :( .

For once I agree with you. Even though I enjoyed it and thought it was good I think alot of people would have found it boring compared to the three weeks preceding it. That is why I was afraid of these numbers and was just hoping both NBC shows would hang on to most of their numbers and do well in demos. They didn't do bad but I guess I was hoping they would stay the same or close to where they were. I knew they were gonna go down though-upswings don't last forever. I do think the numbers will be better this week.

I also agree about ATWT-should be much higher. I am also happy that OLTL looks like it got better numbers then GH. That warms my heart somewhat :) .

except I Think this week was also boring just like last week was

I really want to see ATWT back to 3rd place.it really is a great show.I'm glad I started watching it.thank you JER!

I really dont think so.we have no Idea what will happen with Jack, but I'll be shocked if he has any lines and does anything else other then stare from the window and witnessing the pre-funeral kiss.

Surprising numbers if you ask me. I watched OLTL everyday last week and although it wasn't bad, I don't understand why it was the only soap to jump... but thats cool. I am surprised DAYS dropped so much.

Huh, these numbers are everything but stellar. Mediocre ratings at best and I think this is well-deserved! <_<

Nice to see that B&B did pretty good while the others fared rather lackluster...

BTW: What's up with the higher than usual Monday ratings? It's getting a pattern and I don't get why the usually hyped Friday cliffhanger always has less viewers than Monday's conclusion.

No its not a typical JER pattern-Days and Passions viewership has been steadily increasing with the occasional slip along the way. Both shows were on such a huge upswing that they were bound to drop sooner or later and last week was entertaing but nothing that would draw anyone outside of the normal fanbase. This week both NBC shows, or at least Days, should get a boost since things are actually happening and they could also get a boost next week too. Not because of Matt but because of Zach's funeral. I will really be pissed if Days went down alot on demos. If their demos are good (same goes for Passions) then its not so bad. I knew Days would drop but never did I think it would drop to 2.6. I was thinking 2.7 or 2.8 but if was just one of those weeks on daytime I guess.

Wow-boy do I disagree with this. You may not like some of the stories but there is emotion all over the place. I wouldn't mind you saying its boring like XDaysaddict but to say there is no emotions is a complete misevaluation. I would like to know how you arrived at that conclusion.

1. JER and Corday have run the show into the ground. IA that this is falling right in line with JER's pattern. Big Gimmick = higher ratings for a few weeks - if that. Viewers then see the bad writing on the wall and tune out...again. Eventually, JER's shock and awe will cease to make any gains, but I doubt the show will last that long.

2. Gains? Only in a JER skewed world is it considered 'good' to regain losses after you've run a show to a new low of 2.4 (Third new series low to boot!)

3. I knew you would disagree with me, but I stand by my statement that all the stories are shallow. All of them. It is not a "misevaluation".

    • Belle doesn't have a "savior complex" she has a half assed martyr hoe complex. See her staying with sponge bob square head Faux Philip(KB)cause he was injured overseas in war & he was "the father of her baby" like it was the 1950s or something. Not out of some true love kinda ish. That's what she told Shawn as to why she couldn't be with him despite cheating with him behind Phil's back. I didn't care but a spade is a spade cause that logic went straight out the window once Shawn moved on with Mimi & stopped letting her string him along. The minute he found someone else & she couldn't string him along while playing house with Phil? It's the minute the facade of her's dropped. Belle just wants to have her cake and eat it too. A self righteous thot who looks down her nose at others Sami, Xander while she lays up with the monster who not only tortured her beloved daddy but her sister & rest of her family. Like her using her daddy "dying" back in 07 as the reason she was having an affair with JKJ Phil & slept with him in her martial bed she shared with her husband. I think it was either before John's funeral or after. Belle's loyalty is too a dick especially one that's not her husbands

Nothing more nothing less you're trying to oversimplify something that doesn't need to be oversimplified. I'm mad big daddy John is going out with his 2 biological kids being dumber then a box of rocks bird brains, who don't even share one brain cell btw the 2 of them. John's legacy deserves better you hear me! 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣 At least he still has Pumpkin Carrie & Paul 🕊
    • They need to put this new Michael on frontburner every day for as long as they can.  They also need to bring in a new love interest (or many) for him.  Give this actor as much material as possible, please! I hope this Drew-Michael nephew-uncle rivalry goes on for the long haul.  I was worried they were leading up to a Drew murder mystery, but that would prematurely end some great long-term soapy storytelling.  The Quartermaines don't need any more dead family members, either.

    • I was cracking up at how Silk Press tried to hump Not Ted's leg as soon as Kat walked in, but her cackling at the end is getting OTT.
    • I think Doug needs to get his own sidepiece, but not Dani. Dani is only tolerable with Andre (and her daughter Chelsea), so let's keep her there. How about Shanice? She seems like she really cares about him as a person.
    • Does anyone know the air date on the very first time Stephanie referred to Brooke as "The Slut from the valley"?
    • Does anyone know the air date of the very first John & Stefano scene? As well as the air date on the very last time they had a scene?
    • They interacted before when Dani and Pamela were at the casino.
    • The last few episodes have been good; the acting, the emotions. It's nice to see that GH can still do classic soap opera. I do wish that they would respect their long term audience more and do it without all the silly rewrites though. And where do they go from here? I'm a bit pessimistic and fully expect the show to go back to the drama-less, boring mess it usually is. I'm giving it a month, tops.
