August 20, 201213 yr Member RIP Can't say I ever found her funny though, but she was a comedy legend. Edited August 20, 201213 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
August 20, 201213 yr Member I LOVED Phyllis. Her appearance and laugh were funnier than her jokes were... but she could really pull out some gems sometimes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCKQiG4jh0w
August 20, 201213 yr Member R.I.P. I'll always remember her for her special guest appearances on Scooby Doo and various comedy specials throughout the '80s. And that laugh! Some of the best plastic surgery of any celebrity. I hope Susan and Robin tweet about it.
August 20, 201213 yr Member I always associate Phyllis with her game show/variety show appearances, and I always got a kick out of her spirit and DGAF attitude. Also loved the theme song from her short-lived sitcom The Pruitts of Southampton, complete with her infamous cackle:
August 20, 201213 yr Member She also was part of one of the funniest moments of my childhood, I still remember laughing until I cried for about half an hour after seeing this (It's at 9:40) Edited August 20, 201213 yr by alphanguy74
August 20, 201213 yr Member I think of her most as being in Mad Monster Party. They claim she actually was the singer of this song <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/0Iq61DYJdEE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
August 20, 201213 yr Member I was more a fan of the legend and the ground she broke than of her comedy, but she lived such a long life and she seemed active and healthy up to last year. I'm sure Roseanne must be devastated.
August 20, 201213 yr Author Member She was in an episode of Boy Meets World. I wish it was posted online, cause she was hilarious in it LOL
August 20, 201213 yr Member She lived to be 95, and all reports say she died peacefully in her sleep. More than any of us could hope for. Bless her.
August 20, 201213 yr Member Yep, and she was a trooper all the way up 'til the end. Definitely a life to be proud of.
