That tribute for me was the death knell for daytime. If we have time for animals on stage, oscar singing in a trash can, and nine million awards for talk shows, then we have time for an AMC/OLTL tribute and a final moment with the cast on stage. That they didn't do that speaks volumes about the genre and the way the rest of the world views it.

Exactly, it gelt like a goodbye to Soap Opera, and not to AMC /OLTL. As if everyone was tossing their hands up the air.

    Exactly. This is worse than both the short GL tribute vs. the long Sesame Street tribute the same year, and the even SHORTER ATWT tribute the following year.

    I know this and I haven't even watched the ceremony yet.

    You don't think he lobbies for [!@#$%^&*] like this? Come on. Please. Cam and/or his agent most definitely do whatever possible to keep this guy in the limelight.
