New Contract Role At DAYS

Hot on the heels of axing four main players — with more rumored cuts to come — DAYS is casting the role of "Drew", who is described as a 30-to-35-year-old well-built, Caucasian male. "Drew is the ideal man in every way," reads the breakdown for the part. "From his incredible good looks, to his sincerity, integrity and strength. He is the total package. He is smart and caring and has a way about him that puts anyone at ease. But behind his perfect facade may lie a pain that drives him to do anything to forget his past." The show is seeking "strong, experienced actors" for this contract role. Insiders whisper this is one of a handful of new faces that will move to Salem under the new writing regime of Gary Tomlin and Christopher Whitesell.

How about the show focuses on the cast it already has and not get any new characters. The four being axed should be written for, this show is a joke!

Yep that's what they do to make sure you know they aren't looking for anyone ethnic. GH used to do that all the time. Caucasion, blonde hair, blue eyes.
