Can ABC please pull The Revolution already? Another series low with only 1.3 million at least GH grew a million viewers off of that embarrassing lead-in getting 2.4 million on Thursday. I wish GH was airing at 2pm already.

DAYS had a pretty good finish to the week as its been a while since I've seen that show get over 2.5 million on a Thursday and a Friday.

B&B had a really good week and Y&R I don't even pay attention to until I see improvements and changes made to that show.

I have a feeling that the Cartini fans won't want to talk all that much about last week's ratings. On the other hand, if GH was only .2 ratings points higher, it would be spun as some major sort of triumph.

DOOL is certainly safe from cancellation so long as Cartini is in charge at GH.

I don't buy the wrong lead in cop out. The Revolution has been on for 2 1/2 months, GH 49 YEARS! People know GH exists and when it is on, so if they want to watch it, they will! A poor lead is the excuse you use for a new show like Katie Couric because there probably is no immediate need to see it, so you rely on an audience too "lazy" to change the channel! There is nothing to keep me from watching Person Of Interest or Grimm, and I have no idea what shows precede either. GH is simply NOT must see, and Cartooni's calculations about the OLTL characters were completely off. The GH audience wanted to see them write for GH, not use it's characters as supporting players for OLTL, the characters they really want to write for. Cartooni regressed the GH characters to repeat old stories to save their energy for OLTL. Besides Cartooni's Carly, Robert and Holly were the biggest travesties of all. Robin's empty funeral, and the circus that ensued? I have always hated Robin, but that was ridiculous!

Didn't think an EP would be worse than Phelps, but I was wrong. W/I. A year, this show has had 2 EP's and 3 HW's with each worse than the last. AMC went thru this right before the plug was pulled. I guess we, or those of you who watch regularly, should prepare yourselves.

My colleague who watch GH is the only offliner I know and she's not happy with the OLTL influx. She's enjoyed some moments. She mentioned a scene between Carly and Blair that she enjoyed and she's liking the John/Sam thing but that has a lot to do with the fact that she watched PC so it's a walk down memory lane for her. She's described KA as "horrid" and "unwatchable." But regardless of the OLTL stuff, she's livid at how Robin's death was handled and thinks that it showed that RC has no respect for the show.

However, she keeps telling me that she can't bring herself to stop watching. She plans to stick around til the end.

LOL!!!!

Well, GH is simply NOT OLTL and I won't tune in even with a couple of OLTL characters there. For the fans of GH, I hope the show survives, but I haven't watched any other daytime show since OLTL and I don't probably won't. I guess it's true what others have said, once the fans leave, they don't coming back. I regret arguing with some about it because IRONICALLY, I'm one of them. I really do miss all the OLTL banter, good and bad from this site.

In the loving arms of his wife, Dr. Marlena Evans, John took his last breath at the end of the June 2 episode, after suffering devastating internal injuries during a lab explosion. The iconic character went out as he lived — a hero. Sensing the fans’ devastation on Monday, Marlena’s portrayer Deidre Hall posted this simple-but-powerful message to fans on Instagram: “I know. I know. Hardest day ever.”

    • Now coming into June...well...   I knew it was coming but I didn't like the start to the next round of Dani/Bill/Hayley. As the 3 A plots from the start of the show (The SilkPress storyline and Martin's Secret being the other two), it needed to be benched for a while to develop those characters and allow other characters and storylines to grow. 3 months in, Hayley is the weak link, Dani is still divisive, but not boring, and Bill has been making his mark with some plots faster than others. So last week seeing the story starting to loop back around to them with Hayley's potential pregnancy, I honestly had mixed feelings.   I get it. The SilkPress storyline is currently in aftermath/next turn mode, so it has to be moved into a C plot position. Moreso if we want to keep the very talented Miss Trish around. And I love how clever the writers are being with the storyline. They give us enough in the episodes and are still playing out beats to keep the appetite fed. I don't feel like anyone is being dumbed down to keep her around. And Trish is giving nuances in her alone scenes with NuTed. I shouldn't care for a clear psycho, but she be selling it. That said...I wish they had given us a little more of the Martin's Secret storyline in the last week of the month though I loved the game of cat and mouse Bill did on Martin and Smitty to keep the storyline alive and active after it had a nice build beginning of May and vanished for a week mid-May. And it appears like it's about to go back to the backburner as an A plot which of course leaves the A plot of Dani/Bill/Hayley.   I am probably in the minority as someone who is not anti-Dani here and even she annoyed the heck out of me last week. In character true, but I just felt like there was a way to get all of that across without it feeling like...as I've said before...one step forward, two steps back...and have it feel organic. I liked Hayley got a little bit of edge with her, but she still ain't no match for Dani. And it reminds to be seen if we should be going back to that well of a story yet.   Now about today's show...   And I thought Tracy was bad! lol. But YES. Sharon has been worth the wait. And so has Anita's story! Finally having TT in the limelight. This has been a nice slow burn for me and a nice B plot. And the actress is good. The wig is giving. And her holding what Anita's secret is over her head and threatening to tell Vernon....Ooooo...that is what I was waiting for.    And speaking of bad...I thought Eva vs Kat was a great rivalry. But I am loving the rivalry that is growing with 'Nancy Drew' and Silk Press Sheila! They both get good licks in and are so cunning with each other. And I definitely have liked that since the anniversary party, that it has been growing. Now that Kat has been proven right, she has not backed down. And neither has SilkPress. And we got a 'Ms. B@tch' moment, too? LOVE. Eva coming up with a trump card was delicious and so 90s Sami Brady. GOOD. And the coda with Jacob and the expert...YES. The Silk Press storyline has been the best paced on the show so I love that the aftermath of the anniversary party continues to be so...barring one flaw...well for me. Not enough Nicole's POV.   And I like the C plots on display. And by that, I mean Chelsea with Vernon. And it made me wonder what the writers have plan for her love life now that the throuple is over with. I was watching her and going awww.   And of course the mystery man around Martin. I am starting to wonder if he really even works at the country club given how he made a run for it. That would be a twist.    Speaking of Martin...good to see him in scenes with his father and mother.    I'm getting used to NuTed.    I felt the last episode of May was a bit of a letdown, but this was a very nice recovery.
    • Unless they cut him, I'd think he would stay. Surely, he didn't choose to return because he expected high quality. I figure he gets to work when he wants and spend a lot of time doing his own thing and being with his family.
    • The writing for Liz and Lucky is indeed terrible, but if JJ signed a one-year contract he may be gone in a couple of months anyway. Perhaps they’re just cutting their losses.
    • That would be his older sister Stacey. She was the center of a big story back in the day. Nola was out to snag medical student Kelly Nelson, who she thought would provide her with the life she craved. He was in love with a girl named Morgan. Nola plotted to get pregnant by him, but couldn't manage to get him in bed. So she seduced Floyd, who thought she was in love with him. When she knew she was pregnant, she got Kelly drunk and made sure he woke up next to her in bed. Kelly believed her when she told him he made her pregnant. They were about to elope to Las Vegas, but her mother ratted her out and Kelly abandoned her. She almost married Floyd, but jilted him at the altar. She went to work for Quint. When the baby came prematurely, Kelly saved both of them. She named the baby Kelly Louise to irk Morgan, who was now married to Kelly. When she fell in love with Quint, she had a change of heart over all the trouble she had caused, so she changed the baby's name to Anastasia Louise, shortened to Stacey. Quint was a devoted stepfather and Henry treated her like his own granddaughter.  After Quint and Nola leave SF, I believe Stacey is never seen again. Which is odd, you would think they would have brought her back with Nola and J, but they never did.
