SMH, I can hardly believe she was singing at Bobby's mother's homegoing two weeks before she died herself. "Be ye also ready..." sleep.png

That is so disrespectful. I cant beleive someone snuck in a camera at the funeral and started videotaping Whitney and threw it up on YT

My ex-girlfriend told me one of my in-laws had a camera at my mother's funeral and I almost flipped the [!@#$%^&*] out. I don't think she took any pics inside the actual service, but of people outdoors. And oh my God, if I ever saw someone taking a cell phone pic of my loved one in the casket, I'm going to jail that day.

Ugh Gayle King needs a life...Why was she invited?? I can't believe Oprah hasn't dropped her as a friend....Gayle needs to go away....

LOL, not a Gayle fan? I'm sure she was invited or was O's "plus one." O may have stayed with her while she was in the tri-state area for the funeral.

Yeah, the decision to air/stream it came later. I woke up a little after noon and flipped open my laptop. I had this: http://www.livestrea.../whitneyhouston already marked in my favorite places the night before and I spent the next three hours watching in bed/the kitchen/the bathroom. ph34r.png

You are NOT gonna tell me that you were watching Whitney's homegoing sittin on the throne, are you?

LOL, I respectfully waited until it was just live TMZ footage outside the church but I certainly checked myself. "We live in a world where you can sit on the toilet watching the funeral of a superstar on your laptop. sleep.png "

Did you all notice how royally pissed off and humorless Jesse Jackson seemed? I know "humorless" is an odd criticism for a funeral, but you know what I mean. He stood a few times but seemed utterly responseless to a lot of the speakers.

Maya Rudolph is hosting SNL and I keep wondering if she's gonna say something.

I've been thinking of this clip a lot this week :( :

Wow if you didn't know better you'd think that clip was done this past week :( "Wherever she is..."

Is that the Pebbles who used to be a performer (that car boy song) and manager of TLC? Or is that someone else?

I know some feel Jesse was upset about not being the center of attention, but I wonder if a lot of it is his age and the world not being what he hoped it might have been by this time.

Is that the channel which used to have the Crouches and PTL or are these all different channels?

Yes and Yes. :P

She was married to L.A. Reid. Their spoiled son was on an ep of Sweet 16.

Good Lord, Jan Crouch was entertaining. She was straight outta John Waters.

Did she ever make up with TLC? Weren't there lawsuits or something?

Speaking of Jan Crouch:

I never saw their Behind the Music, but I later read about the allegations that Perri robbed TLC, for lack of a better word.

Oh my, 9 straight minutes of that?? Why does it remind me of Peapack? Probably got better ratings.

I'm a little ashamed to say I'm totally shaking my stuff to this right now. I loved the dance music in the late 80s, early 90s. I remember when I was maybe 7 or 8 a lot of the big dance names (like George Lamond) were performing at Flushing Meadow Park in Queens. Me and my sister watched politely from a distance while my cousin ran to front of the stage and got herself autographs.
