According to the Canadian day-ahead, it really was Nikki who killed Diane, but she did it in self-defense. Patty didn't do it, but she did sew those pillows.

Yeah I saw the photo Deacon showed today. I originally thought it was Patty, but as soon as they said Nikki left rehab and no one knew her whereabouts that pretty much said it all.

I'm cool with Nikki having blood on her hands. Glad it's not Patty or Deacon, for that matter.

I was hoping they'd stick with the reveal in the Backwards Episode.

I can't believe this is the end of Diane. This is so silly, down to Nikki being the killer. There is no satisfying solution because Diane should've never been killed off. The motivation wasn't there, even in self defense.

People had already guessed this when Diane was killed.

Awful writing - a stunt that no one gave a damn about from the very first day.

I'm thinking there might be one last twist where it turns out Patty finished her off. Diane's head was bashed in about ten times, but Nikki only hit her once.

Don't get me wrong - I'm still majorly p.o.'d about killing Diane off (and the treatment of MW), but I've been loving all the MTS exposure since she came back. If this keeps her front and center until Memorial Day, I'll be very happy.

At least where getting a resolution now as compared to the whole Skye falls into a volcano story that lasted a YEAR.

Oh and at least hopefully it will continue to give MTS some meaty material and keep her on the front burner. Otherwise what a waste to a once iconic character that was once played by some vibrant actresses.

You know Corbin Bernsen is returning as Father Todd, Patty and Paul's brother, right? He describes it on Facebook as "Todd's last stand". Wonder if Patty is caught as Diane's true killer and Todd is brought in to try to talk some sense into her?

And sadly I don't think this will lead to juicy material for Melody. It's all done and over with pretty fast, then she's off to try to stop the Sharctor wedding.

I think Corbin Bernsen is coming for to do the Aunt Jack wedding (glad I'm not eating) and will bring Patty down from ledge.

Nikki killing diane is lazy writing and pure crap. Nikki has now killed three freakin people.

So MTS returned so the writers could turn nikki into a drunken 3 time murder who reunites with douche bag victor for the 1000 times again .

so much for MTS saying that nikki would become a stronger character an wouldn't be playing victor's slave anymore.

LOL at Ronan not even bothering to load the "missing film." He just continued where Deacon left off - except that it wasn't on that reel. So why did Diane have the needle? Who was she planning on drugging? No one knew Nikki would be in town that night. Ridiculous - but still better than Patty. (Although I believe that Patty was original killer and once MTS contract worked out, the killer changed. Sort of like Shield/Sarah nightmare.) The Shictor marriage can be erased in minutes, so this just can't be an ongoing storyline - unless it's related to Shadam.
