As ONE LIFE TO LIVE draws to a close this week, Executive Producer Frank Valentini has made his first appearance in Port Charles. GENERAL HOSPITAL's Laura Wright (Carly) tweeted on Jan. 9, "First day with new boss-- so far so good!!! Kick ass GH!!!" Upon wrapping her first day with the showrunner, Wright added, "Im back home-- wine glass in hand! Great first day with Mr. Frank Valentini." Meanwhile, Nancy Lee Grahn tweeted her welcome to Head Writer Ron Carlivati (@carlivatiron): "Wanted 2 welcome u to GH & ask u to SAVE US!...no pressure..OUR LIVES R IN UR HANDS!...so relax & enjoy ur 1st day @ work xoxo."

I feel like in real life, Nancy Grahn and I would be good friends.

I don't even watch GH, but she made a very brief appearance on one of my favorite shows, Hell's Kitchen, and I felt the same way.

NLG is interesting to read about because she does have to toe the line, but she can also be very blunt, like the time she hilariously called out James Franco for his patronizing attitude about soaps.

Back when Wolf started as headwriter she said he wrote strong women. Well, not so much. Perhaps, with JFP gone, things will be different in GH's last months.
