Was Will on today?

Nope

Brady: "Whats my name? Brady Brown? Im a Black too" laugh.png

Can they bring on Andrew Trischetta as Jack Jr? Its ridiculous that this character isnt around and makes Jennifer come across as an awful mother considering she hasnt seen him in over a year

Now Melanie's going to be a model? I love her but wow, am I the only one who finds it really annoying how Madison is scampering around town asking everyone to model for her...what is up with these writers turning everyone into models?? rolleyes.gif

And all anyone ever does on DAYS these days is waltz around town (literally) in circles & have conversations. Where is the drama & juicy stories?

The Jack/Marlena stuff with the war veterans today was really good, I loved that Actress who was playing Pat...Mattew Ashford was awesome!

Not that this makes it any better, but the couch is indoors. Horton Square is an indoor shopping plaza.

Let's hope it's Will and Sonny.....or just Will getting nasty with a guy just because he is mad at the world....

I like the plot movement in the political race in terms of the stolen jobs program. Nicole catching on there is more to Will / E.J. than she knows. E.J. knowing Nicole is going to try and bribe Will and then labelling their relationship dysfunctional. Abe and Jennifer deciding to put the screws to E.J. as a result of the job plans fiasco. This is decent plotting, but I'm still not emotionally invested in the outcome. E.J. being the mayor of Salem would certainly provide the most conflict, but E.J. is such a nasty human being I cannot imagine him being elected. Now, if the Dimeras rigged the election, I think the eventual downfall of E.J. would be something worth watching especially if they played outside the box like having a scorn Nicole help Abe, while reestablishing the parental role Abe played now and again in the lives of Fay's daughters.

This is the first time I've seen Jack in a while. Granted my viewing is sporadic, but are viewers invested in Jack's story? The idea behind Jack's return was great, but I'm shocked by the lack of conflict it has provided. Other than the scenes at the cabin, has Jack had any other episodes? I saw some scenes in December with Jack and Abigail about the journalism award, but Jack seemed okay. I think I would be more invested if I saw how Jack's illness was affecting his day to day life. I thought the therapy session was nice, but I find the writing tends to be a bit preachy at times.

I have no problem with "Days" telling business stories, but this all feels so inorganic. Everyone is suddenly becoming involved after toying with other career options. I'm quite aware young people change jobs all the time, but it all seems to be a bit much. I miss the hospital crowd and am disappointed University Hospital, which was important to the show since the beginning, has been pushed aside in favor of the lipstick wars.

What happened to the next day previews? I haven't seen them all week, I wonder if they want the audience to be fooled by the crap they been putting on the screen so they have to watch.

I'm a big fan of both Molly and Melanie, but even I was like "Uh, say what?" at this development. Sounds to me like Marlene and Darrell are stretching for story ideas in some directions.
