Members Mitch
ATWT was still screwed up at this time and constantly changing direction. Cricket flirting with Jeff when both Annie and Karen were after him....Craig interested in Dee (Dee was Lily, before Lily ever hit Oakdale) and filled with characters that went nowhere... Stan (who had no charisma) after Kim, no bodies take up air time Brenda...Ernie, Matt, a summer retread of the successful Mr. Big storyline, and boring Bilan. Weird thing is that the synopsis list Brian as Lisa's secret lover but he wasnt, when she came back to town she was already secretly married to his father Whit McColl. I know that was the original intention, but they changed it so the show must have been in a state of flux that they changed it so fast between the synopsis going out and what was filmed. Would have been interesting to see Lisa was a younger lover in a triangle with his father...but the Whit McColl casting was so bad, with the bad hair and the guys dentures falling out. Members DRW50
Was there ever a specific reason given for Jack not liking Jill? Did they have a bad first encounter? Did Lorie have one final scene with Lance before going? I have some recaps around 1982 but haven't looked at them in a while.
Members Paul Raven
Jack had already had a fling with Jill a few years before. When the show went to an hour,Bill Bell was finding his feet and trying out various relationship possibilities. Jack was tested with Peggy and Jill.Steve Williams the same. Brett Halsey was John and was attracted to Jill. When he discovered Jack had bedded Jill he left town. When he returned in the form of Jerry Douglas,Jill had moved on from Jack and was engaged to Andy, but that history was still there and therefore, although John had moved on and was willing to commit to Jill,Jack wasn't so forgiving. Members DRW50
ATWT - Who were Brenda, Stacey, and Andrew? OLTL - Who played Lulu? That RH bit about Jane being more of a daughter to Johnny than Siobhan was is just strange, given that in the 1981 episodes they only had a few scenes together. I guess it's typical of that hateful man though. There's an episode from this GL period. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR2-308CUZI&feature=related
