Whoa whoa whoa. Please tell me that I am not dreaming. Please tell me? I love Natalia, I really do, but she's got to go. I say bring in a new Emily and tweak the character.

I've got an idea. In case the show decides to replace Natalia (which they will if she leaves), who do you want to replace her?

And I swear to god if someone says Peyton List I'm gonna spaz the hell out.

I think Elizabeth Hendrickson (ex-Maggie, Frankie, AMC) could do a good job as Emily. I also think that Jessica Dunphy (ex-Allison, ATWT) would do a good job. Come on, let's say some names.

"And I swear to god if someone says Peyton List I'm gonna spaz the hell out."

Peyton List is way too young for the role. My first thought was Julianne Morris (ex-Greta, DAYS), but she may skew a little too old for the part.

Peyton List has bigger fish to fry. She has done a few guest appearances on Prime-time shows. She did that movie last fall. I also saw a pic of her at NBC's TCA party so I think she might have something cooking with them. Maybe she has been cast in a pilot for them.

Alexis Thorpe maybe? As much as I would love to see Julianne Morris back in daytime I agree she is quite old for the part. Peyton List would simply be horrible for the part, too young, and I didn't really think she was that good of an actress to start with.

Well considering that debacle with the baby Cameron spoiler, I wouldn't really trust SID with anything anymore. Not to mention, this rumor has been around for a while now. It started last summer. There was a rumor about Natalia renegotiating her contract because she won the Emmy and possibly leaving so it is an old rumor. It looks like we are stuck with Natalia till the spring of 2007.

    • Okay I can buy that when Brook Lynn was a teen.  Now she knows the child is a boy one would think she'd be slightly suspicious.  Then again, Gio looks nothing like either of them so maybe not lol.
    • I've been behind & just got caught up & the last 3 days were amazing!
    • Yeah.  The hot, poor bad boy with a chip on his shoulder but with a heart of gold was a common soap trope in the 80s

    • That's been an issue with me... the lack of a cohesive 'Have Not' crowd that has focus other than Leslie/Eva.   I would beef up Jan, Mona, Laura, Joey, and few other male characters.. and not just be out to overthrow the Duprees.. but co-existing and broadening the scope of the show since the show is called Beyond the Gates. I think the set up the show has with everything revolving around the Duprees will become predictable especially if they always win.   It would be like Victor Newman on Y & R for 40+ years.. always winning, hardly ever losing.   With MVJ/Guza.. both trained under that mindset... I fear that will happen.   I've always heard from a performer that is playing a character like Leslie/Dana that you have to find the victim/hurt beneath the surface in order to play a villain/villainess... and I think that's why I enjoy watching her.. because she brings so much more to the part than what the writers put on the page.
    • I figure that was really hard for Dom to do. I completely GET why they wrote it the way they did but I wonder if it was necessary. Meanwhile I have 2 really icky ideas in my head. Drew is going to blame Tracy KNOWING it was not her. Dante is going to blame Lulu.  After that, everyone else is going to be mad at Lois.  Tracy is going to double down on wanting to get rid of Sonny. Sonny's going to be more dug in to stay because he now has a new descendant.
    • I can actually buy Brook Lynn being so self-absorbed and incurious that she never thought to question why her mom and grandma were so attached to Gio.
    • It was overkill and the whole narrative Lois was too nice to the orphan kid when he was little, WHAT? Like Emma said no one thinks Gio is a troublemaker that gets 14-year-old kids drunk for fun. That being said, Lulu figured this Gio thing out in episode, but Brook Lynn never once questioned Lois and Gloria's attachment to a child that was the same age as the baby she gave up?  Ever?
    • Thanks for finding that. I may have been thinking of this blog entry.
