How about Frank Valentini/Ron Carlivati at Y&R?

IMO if OLTL online is dead in the water. I believe that CBS should replace Maria Bell with Frank Valentini and officially name Ron Carlivati as the new head writer of Y&R. IMO they would be IMO what Y&R needs. The show is an absolute disaster. In fact I would name Ron and Lorriane Broderick as co-head writers of Y&R and fire Hamner, Sheffer and Bell. The show needs a massive overhaul especially with declining ratings and IMO a character named Angelina UGH. Do you think Frank/Ron would be a good match at Y&R?

All the men would be shirtless. Y&R would be campy with Brenda Dickson back as Jill. Phillip would finally have his gay storyline. A grown up Kyle and Noah would be bitter enemies. In college Noah would do a porn movie to hide that he is gay. A scum bag named Austin P would be blackmailing him to do the movie called...Diploma 2. Everything 80's from Y&R would be back including Danny's jukebox. Traci and Lauren would hate each other again. Paul would do another nude calender. David Kimble would return from the dead to get revenge on Nina. Terry Lester returns claiming he is the real Jack. I know TL has passed away. Casandra Rawlins returns to Geona City for Paul. Cricket and Danny 2.0.

The thing is they would be better then anything Maria Bell has done. Frank also would streamline the show make it more budget conscious and Ron is KING OF Camp but he has talent unlike Maria. Hes had misses and hits. I am just saying those rose OLTL ratings this year and IMO they would make a good team at Y&R. Y&R needs a revamp in the worst way and not the reboot DAYS got. It needs something to move it foward. Ron and Frank would make Genoa City the place to be.

These two have completely and utterly gutted One LIfe To Live. As some who absolutely adored that show from the age of six, they've made it unbearable to watch. They've ruined it so badly that I was almost relieved that it was canceled and I hate them for making me feel that way. Camp is fine, I have nothing against camp as long as it isn't the whole show. That's not the problem. The problem is that since their reign, I can't think of a single legacy character who hasn't been completely butchered beyond repair. I flipped the show on a few days ago and caught a glimpse of Cord and Tina, which was really nice, but they were all I could stomach and had to turn it off when their scene was over.

I didn't realize that they were so bad; I gave up on OLTL for the most part ABC soaps because of Frons' regime I always thought of him as the main culprit. I always respected Carlivati because I think the guy really likes soaps. some HW I don't get that impresssion.

I believe RC loves OLTL I really do. And if you like camp OLTL and B&B are the shows for you. And I actually prefer B&B because I think in some odd way Brad Bell respects his leading ladies more. They would not work at Y&R, AMC or GH

DAys was camp at one time but a diff type of camp.But both DAys and OLTL have rapists as the town heros so maybe they would have worked.
