I agree with the chosen pre-noms. Supporting Actress is iffy to me besides Egan but otherwise pretty good.

Melissa has the best chance out of the Supporting actress set which looks to be the weakest link for AMC this year. I think everyone else is solid though.

I don't see the big deal there. Jacob has a far better chance at winning Supporting anyway. If he was in lead he likely wouldn't even get a nomination.

Pre noms: Lead=Susan &Debbie Vincent& Darnell. Supporting= Jacob& Micheal Me-Melissa-Cady tie.

Cady as in Cady McClain? rolleyes.gif Uh, ok!

Other than her I think these are great noms! Very excited for Susan and Debbi the most. Well deserved!

Yeah. I can't even think of what Cady would have to submit. But then again I feel the same about Chrishell. Egan has the absolute best chance out of those in that category.

I really hope that Susan Lucci will get a second Emmy for the "Jane" storyline. It seems a bit farfetched, I know, but she will surely have the sentimental vote on her side this year.

U guys are amazing-thank u SO much for your input! I went w/ STD ep. Noms are going off a 2min clip. Only nominees will be judged on full ep

The nominees are chosen based only on 2 minutes of work. I hope Susan Lucci submitted the scene where she had a breakdown in Kendall's living room.

Why is there a 2 minute cap? That makes no sense to me.

I want Debbie to win, by all means she should. But at the same time I could see her getting bulldozed to the side for Susan Lucci who played one of the most important soap roles of all time even if Debbie is the better actress and had better material out of the two of them. I also think sentiment will work very well in Micheal and Cady's favor too if they happen to win nominations.

Ok so if I read that right, the pre-noms have to submit 2 mins of an episode and then if they're nominated the judges judge the whole episode? Right?

Yes, Susan definitely needs to go with the Jan. 3 ep!! That is her best chance and it was by far her most powerful performance of the year (even though I loved that Jane episode from July, to. I'm kinda torn..)

Can y'all post a clip of the scene in Kendall's living room? I'm not sure if I caught that. My viewing was sporadic during January.
