SOAPnet plans AMC marathon

I hope the episode from the pill storyline is her Woman of the Year speech meltdown.

"I am so pleased and proud to accept this award on behalf of...absolutely nobody but myself!"

Its all on youtube! What's a matter Brooke? Can't take it? I know it hurts being third-rate, but aren't you accustom to it yet? That's right, go, you're a weakling. That's why you can't keep a man!

LOL...it would be so like TIIC to show their reunion from 2 weeks ago

Or the "I need his heart" moment.

“All My Children: Last Chance for Romance,” which will feature seven episodes meant to showcase Pine Valley’s most beloved couples, including: Cliff and Nina (pictured above); Jenny and Greg; Tad and Dixie; Ryan and Gillian; Leo and Greenlee; Zach and Kendall; and Angie and Jesse.

Most of this sounds good, but I find it hard to believe Zach and Kendell are beloved. If my math is correct, Mark and Ellen just by virtue of airing at a time when more than six people watched AMC had more fans. Same for Phoebe and Langley. I would have liked to see Palmer and Daisy somewhere but oh well.

I guess they are trying to cover all eras and Zach/Kendall are probably the one that comes to mind for the last 5 years

I really hope ABC doesn't launch into full protection mode like some companies have and flag all unauthorized clips on youtube.... something tells me they might want to from a business standpoint. Since AMC/OLTL will be moving into an online format, and they still make money of them in the deal with PP, they will want to maximize their opportunity.

Sounds good enough to record! I think it's funny they have Green/Leo and Ryan/Gillian but no Rylee. Gawd a Ryle marathon-don't even think about it!

The fact that they haven't already is probably a sign. There's a lot of AMC/OLTL/GH clips old and new you can find on YouTube.

Those episodes are probably already on Youtube.

It doesn't matter. I got chills hearing the original theme during the last major AMC marathon. The internet's not the same as the real thing on your TV.

I was saying that because people were talking about wanting them on DVD. I just meant, if you can't get someone to tape for you, then they are probably on Youtube from previous marathons.

Awww... the T&D episode is the one where Amnesiac Tad tries to convince runaway Dixie in a brunette wig that it's really him... not someone hired by Adam to get Junior away from her forever. They do most of the show separated by a door. LOL

This is the episode that propelled AMC over Y&R for #1 in the ratings during that scene. :)
