I know Richard Simmons was part of the canvas at this time, and maybe not for much longer, but it feels weird seeing him in the frenzy leading up to Luke & Laura facing the reporters. I'm assuming they used minicams for that scene.

A lovely clip. I will be watching a few vintage Scorpio eps this weekend in his honor.

As a side note/distraction to today's sad news, we've had a lot of discussion in recent times re: Guza II, the downshifting of Sonny in those later years, his hyperfocus on Dante's ascension, etc. and how Dominic Zamprogna has been ill-treated since. I was curious if a few of us knew about this (sorry to @carolineg and @titan1978), as I stumbled on this very old anecdote while rummaging around in the GH hashtag entirely by accident:

Very glad this didn't happen, but it does follow the classic arc of The Godfather Guza so adored and it fits his clear fixation on Dante.

@Vee Thanks for finding that. It does feel inevitable, if you are on GH at that time and so bitterly anti-mob, you're either going to die or become a mobster yourself. I'm sure Dominic would have done a great job but I'm not sorry the story never happened.

Interesting.  I have never heard this.  I always figured Michael would inevitably take over, but Duell's Michael would not be believable as a mob boss.  It's actually a bit odd none of Sonny's kids have shown much interest in the business.

I am glad that Dante story didn't play out, but Dante turning a blind eye to Sonny/Jason's misdeeds year after year as a cop isn't great either.  I honestly don't think it would have been the worst story for Dante.  I just don't see it working long term.

Thanks for the laughs with Tristan and Finola.

At the Outback, I can see Steve and Audrey, Tom and Simone,  Robin, Monica and Alan, Bobbie and Tony!

The youtube description says there's an old AJ. If that's true, then I guess it might be Gerald Hopkins?   If so, who is the young woman with him?

No, that's Jenny Eckert. I believe Tracy is close to the stage on the opposite side of Robert and Anna. You don't need to repost the link each time.

Jesus Christ I'd managed to forget about this until now lol. Finola's face! of their faces! Along with when Felicia and Luke performed at the Nurse's Ball that time, this has to be the cringiest and funniest moment on GH that we were supposed to be taking seriously.

That guy was such a dud too and I feel like I remember him being on all the time for like a year and then was just gone. Who was responsible for this? This couldn't have been during the Labine//Riche years.
