Eh, I couldn't care about him... and didn't he diss soap operas when Kelly Monaco beat him on DWTS? He was a poor loser and couldn't believe he lost to a soap star. I hope I'm wrong, and that was just a rumor.

LOL - wouldn't it be hilarious if he was involved with Maria? :P

I'd say it was probably a rumor from a KeMo fan LOL, don't believe everything your read.

I love John O'Hurley, I wonder if he might be a potential love interest, cause Jerica is basically done due to this current stuff

Will he be sharing scenes with his ex, Eva LaRue? LOL Actually, he appeared on AMC back in 1988. He played a character named Douglas Prescott who was somehow mixed up with Travis's fake kidnapping scheme. They chem tested him with Lucci back then. This was during the writer's strike, and the character was dropped when the strike was over.

Wonder if they'll have him be that character again? LOL. Hey, if Kim Zimmer can resurrect Echo out of the blue ...

Was never really a fan of O'Hurley though. I find him way too hammy of an actor. I don't know.

He was so overly bitter about losing Dancing With the Stars - it was one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. I thought he was a big ham on the show.

Former SEINFELD star and DANCING WITH THE STARS champ John O'Hurley (ex-Jonathan, LOVING; ex-Jim, Y&R, et al) is joining AMC as Kit Sterling, a producer who approaches Erica to make a movie based on her new book, Erica Kane: Uncensored. He will first air Septemeber 12. O'Hurley already has an AMC connection: From 1992-94, he was married to Eva La Rue (ex-Maria).

    • This show is really trundling along BTW. When is someone going to show up to slit Beastmaster's throat or crack the whip on metrosexual Sidwell? (BTW, openly presenting this cheery bon vivant as casually bisexual would at least be something vaguely diverting.) At least kill Brennan by year's end. I'm bored.
    • She told Vanessa to "DOUBLE her offer" on the Jarvis house.  The Jarvis family accepted the doubled price.  Assuming the house has an appraised value of $2,000,000, she's theoretically paid the Jarvis family $4,000,000 for the house.  The bank would loan Leslie 80% of the appraised value ($1,600,000), and Leslie had to pay the balance with cash at closing --- $2,200,000.  She only had ONE million.  Where the hell did she get the rest?!  And now she's got contractors working on the house all day & half the night.  Who's paying THEM?  I keep thinking all this will crash around her.  Either that or the writers have absolutely no idea the limits of a million dollars.  Sounds like a "lot of money", but it obviously ain't when we look at Leslie's spending since she got that million dollar check in August.

    • Vernon is an idiot. Why would he have Sharon in the same hotel that Leslie is staying at?
    • Yes, that out of the blue return was odd. Maybe GG found a forgotten clause in the contract he signed when he was wooed to ABC and they were forced to take him back! Like George Reinholt he talked about the contract that promised him primetime roles. But it was loaded in the networks favor. I think it was Gloria Loring that re-signed at Days on the promise of primetime opportunities, but that was all it was- she was put up for guest spots and TV movies but not necessarily guaranteed that she get the role.
    • I still am baffled by why Monty brought back stunt hire Gerald Gordon in the early '80s out of nowhere for like a year. I haven't found anyone who can come up with a thing he did in that second stint of note.
    • It's interesting to watch this having watched The Doctors. I'm not sure I'm seeing that much of a difference in the characters Gerald Gordon and Anna Stuart played on The Doctors and what they're playing here.
    • I keep forgetting a huge chunk of that year was written by scabs. You're probably right, because by the time the strike was over, they were likely planning an exit for Alan's character as it must have been obvious by then that Bernau was not going to return. If he was still there, it's also doubtful they would have approached MZ and MG about coming back. Wild.
    • And to think the original plan was for David and Lesley to have an affair.  Not only would that have made no sense - Lesley wasn't THAT stupid, lol - but it also would've ruined her and GH.
