Members Vee Posted July 19, 2011 Members Share Posted July 19, 2011 Man, she looked rough in that outdoor shot. I'm so glad she's alive, though. Brenda and Jax belong together AFAIC. They should never have aired those sequence of classic episodes on ABC and SOAPNet when she first returned - it refreshed my memory and too clearly delineated the evolution of her character as she moved past Sonny once and for all. I could never really buy her going back to him after '97-'98, or at least, certainly not in the piss-poor way they've told the story. The problem, of course, is that Marcil has made it abundantly clear she will return to write Sonny and Brenda out together when the show is cancelled. How can they play that in a year or less's time when Brenda already just said to Sonny all he really wants is another Carly, another silent or accommodating mob wife? Because that is what he wants.
