Jamey deserves what he gets IMHO--it's about time that maybe he realizes he can't just tweet out made unfounded stuff.

So Jamey made that up and you know this how? Its what he was told. Jamey was also told AMC was moving To LA & It was Gonna Be Canceled. I guess his sources do have a history of getting things right. All his tweet said is that David was heavy in story projections. Now if PP was using Agnes & Lorianne's projections on who to sign and they didnt have VI, I can see why him not on board could be a factor in PP putting AMC on Delay

I haven't done anything but gloss over Jamey's tweets today because I don't want to get into it as I understand having a knee jerk reaction, but it was indicated that he posted today about Lorraine Broderick what I referenced, John. Maybe that's incorrect but since I'm not going to report on that, yet, I'm not going to go do research on it.

Yes he was. He was sucking up to PP by trying to make them look innocent while making VI and LB the fall guys.

One thing I don't believe about him is that he goes after actors with malice. I do believe Jamey preferred and prefers OLTL over AMC strongly which leads to prejudice or lean in reporting from time to time. Did that play into his tweets over the weekend? I have no idea. I wont speculate and I wasn't speculating when I did that report.

I understand that John, but if I'm reading accurately he also said today "What my sources told me is Agnes and Lorraine were worried PP wouldn't sign Vincent Irizarry, while focusing on Lucci."

What does that have to do with the matter at hand when it's Prospect Park making the decision and they according to Jamey himself haven't even contacted Lorraine Broderick since the projections? His statement over the weekend wasn't that Lorraine and Agnes decided to stall AMC because of not being able to secure Vincent and Susan, it was that PP decided to stall mainly due to Lucci/brand, Vincent/story and no success in negotiations with either performer.

This is what I'm getting, and maybe I'm being dense or just not giving enough of a [!@#$%^&*] but I don't understand then why he's getting so upset. His outrage seems to be coming not from this "truth", but from the idea that it was spun to look like he was wagging his finger at VI. ?

I dunno Angela the only thing I can think is since AMC has No EP and OLTL does and they signed a lot of their cast, maybe Agnes & LB were worried without an EP that understood AMC's history PP wouldnt know who to offer deals too and honestly I I think thats part of the issue IMHO

I don't know whether he goes after actors with malice but he definitely went after AMC as a show with malice. IMO, that alone makes his reporting unreliable and untrustworthy. Jamey has shown that he is incapable of reporting AMC with any degree of objectivity. He's not the only member of the soap press with that problem but he's the only one claiming innocence. Jamey has been called out, directly or indirectly, by SL, RPG, AM, and now VI. At some point he just needs to own his bias.

He's only been on DC like 5 years and AMC IMHO has sucked all that time but have u heard him on podcasts about Past AMC. He is a fan. He also rips oLTL when he feels it necessary

The man has a reputation of self congatulation when he manages to tweet a rumour that tuns out to be right, and then extreme defensiveness when he gets it wrong. He needs to own up to it.
