Agnes said she wasn't going to wrap everything up in a neat little bow before PP was ever a factor. She wanted to give the feeling that life goes on. I suspect that even if everything had gone to plan there would still be people bitching about how the flash-forward showed that Character X or Y didn't get a happily ever after. Some people want their stuff to end like Grease while others are perfectly comfortable with West Side Story.

For all its flaws, I think Agnes and LB gave the show a fitting ending. It went out with its dignity and a lot of heart and soul. I'm not entertaining the bitching. As for Richard saying it was the worst finale ever, [!@#$%^&*] that noise.

The last scene had this odd ring to it, it was like the room was simultaneously charged while all of the air had been sucked out of it... it was exciting because I knew the show would live on, and perhaps now it'll forever be grouped with Soap and Capitol. I won't pretend like that wouldn't be disappointing, but again, I'll live. They did a good job considering what they thought the future held for the show.

I have to say, I continue to be very curious about TOLN's future, with or without AMC or One Life. I'm dying to see what's going to become of this thing.

I'd just like to know what else PP has planned. If they're only going with one soap what does that mean for the 12 other shows they supposedly had in development? What else are they working on? Are they really going to try and launch TOLN with one show? I still believe that if OLTL is successful, PP will revisit AMC and then they'll actually have something to offer the actors other than empty promises. But until PP takes care of its financial and union issues, I'm not expecting much.

I am officially over all of this and I am done. I loved AMC the 4 years I watched and I really wanted it to continue but I am wasting too much of my time worrying about a TV show and things I have no control over. I am going to stick with B&B and DAYS and when/if they go I guess I will be done with soaps.

- underscored by series legend Susan Lucci turning down an offer to stay with the series.

Was this ever confirmed??

AMC is dead in the water. Who is going to wait and see if it gets started....by who I am mean the actors. They are going to look for other work. Yes, they can recast but AMC is going to be a totally different animal. I wish they would just find someone to release some DVDs of AMC.
