The role of Jake was a big step up for TM over his previous role of Ted Capwell on Santa Barbara, which was more of a straightforward role.

 

Too bad he didn’t last too long after Jake’s initial story ended. Interesting yet random that Jake randomly pops up on the show over the years as the Forrester accountant.
 

Jake's initial story was really good. Too bad that they wasted Felicia&Jake by putting her with Zach eventually.

 

Jake's return in 2007 (?) was sooo out of the blue, but even moreso how smoking hot the aged Todd McKee was. I think one of his first scenes was making out shirtless with Donna (Jennifer Gareis) in a hotel room. The occasional scenes ever sicne are random but a sweet nod to history. Todd McKee has quit acting a long time ago and seems to be a rather successfull employee with MerrylLynch; and he is has been playing tennis regularly with Brad Bell for roughly two decades. Life imitating art considering that Jake was a a tennis pro.

 

 

EDIT: just saw #869. I LOVED Julie Delorean. There are some amazing scenes coming up in the months to come with Sally and/or Clarke.

I really hate that the story finishes with

the “twist ending” that it was actually the uncle and not the dad… that the uncle wore the same baseball cap as the dad (or necklace chain or whatever it was) and so Jake thought the uncle was the dad. The twist dilutes the power of the story.

Jake remembered the sound of his uncel's cain from the army and realized it was not his father who abused him. I think the twist was becouse it would have been too dramatic to really be his father and there always need to be some possitive thing from this story they forgave eachother.

becouse i am watching 1990 i wonder how can Brooke and Eric be a real couple.  She is pregnat, but they do not live together, rearly even see each other, Eric bought a condo, Brooke run away. Which couple lives like that. I never tought that Brooke realy was in love with Eric. May be really liked him but love...

That is EXACTLY why I never understood it at all. The marriage is ridiculous.

Thank you again for the 1990 episodes. I totally forgot Sherilyn Wolter made an appearance on B&B.  Brian Patrick Clarke and her were reuniting.  (They were both bon General Hospital.)
