Random Question but did Amber and Kyle Lowders Rick have any scenes together? I don’t remember seeing them interact circa 2010-2011 before Jacob Young returned.

Just got to the point where nü Storm debuts, and while the actor is not bad... he does not feel like Storm at all!

I can't recall a single scene either.

But apart from Lowder's Rick running through Sydney's botanical gardens shouting "Phoebe, Phoebe, Phoebe!) (nakid of course), the car crash death and his romance with Eileen Davidson's Ashley, his entire tenure is blank in my memory. I thought he was dropped in 2009 already. LOL

• The return of the Logan ladies was a much-welcomed story point. Definitely brought me back to the original episodes. Sure, I would prefer if Judith Baldwin had been brought back as Beth (the best Beth), but I do know Nancy Burnett was liked by the fandom and more associated with the role.

• I do enjoy seeing the blooming relationship between Macy and Sally; it felt like when Macy came in, they were establishing it in some ways but then kind of... forgot about it for a bit of time, and now we are really seeing that connection be re-established. And then, of course, we really revisited the inklings of Macy and Thorne as a pair. Bobbie Eakes and Jeff Trachta definitely had that immediate chemistry; however, I still do not buy Trachta as Thorne. Clayton Norcross was far superior and definitely my favourite Thorne.

• Eric immediately running to see Beth and kissing her really did show signs that Eric's marriage to Stephanie was not meant to last. And it does make me wonder why William J. Bell was not pulling the trigger on just pairing Beth and Eric, even if it were more temporary. But oh Lordy, the moment Eric leaves the Logan home and Beth is met with that cold stare from Stephanie from within the window was pure brilliance. That kind of production does not exist on Bell soaps anymore. It's such a Bell thing to do.

• Stephanie just letting herself into the Logan home was pure entitlement on her part and showed how she asserted and held herself. After what she just endured with Deveney, I bet the return of Beth Logan was a walk in the park for her.

• And with Ridge's impending marriage to Caroline and Beth ending things with Eric, here comes the next best thing: Brooke and Eric turning to each other. Oh, the beginning of complicated relations. However, the continued subtle hints of Brooke and Thorne still exist. They are not as strong as they were with Norcross, but they do exist.

• The very subtle instrumental change to the opening theme is nice. Gives it a new vibe but also feels familiar. Gosh. I remember this theme haunting me when I was little.

• Oh! The introduction of Felicia. I have seen very little of Colleen Dion. I am mostly familiar with Lesli Kay's portrayal of the role, so it is nice to [finally] see the introduction of the character. Dion is a fine actor and really leant into that wayward Forrester child. However, I hate that her introduction means the impending exit of Teri Ann Linn's Kristen, as I adore Kristen.

• Caroline's mother's headstone has to be one of the largest things I have seen and it is the most basic one, too. They couldn't do a bit more to make it... more personal?

• Brooke spying on the Forrester event should have been a glaring sign of miserable times to come for that family with that vulture.

• That wedding was very pretty. A bit dated, but it suited both Caroline and Ridge. I can see why people liked this couple (did they?), but I always preferred her with Thorne over Ridge. But yes, they had some good chemistry.

• Caroline and Ridge got married, and Brooke said, "Let me change the way in which I part my hair!"

• I love when Stephanie slaps Brooke; that's something she really needs TODAY!

• Seeing Carrie Mitchum and John McCook in scenes together feels weird, knowing that they end up married decades later. It feels predatory in scenes right now.

• Seeing Eric just fall back out of love with Stephanie and right immediately in love with Brooke... he was looking for any reason to not be with his wife.

• Kristen's darker hair was... also a choice. It's cute, but it also felt more actor vs. character. In fact, it feels like almost every single blonde got their hair dyed... darker, unless it's the episodes themselves.

• I do like Bill and Margo together, but it feels like the steam is just not there, which is unfortunate.

In general, Jim Storm's Bill was severely mistreated as a character. He is basically non-existent for large chunks of time - which is a major blunder.
