It's a reality show "policy" that dates back to the Real World of the 1990s -- pre-reality show trend. While shooting the show, the castmates are discouraged from actually referring to the show itself on camera. The producers want to give the illusion that what is happening would be happening with or without the show involved. They believe if someone were to say "Oh, we're doing such and such FOR THE SHOW" then it leads the viewer to think it might've been staged by the show FOR THE SHOW... which we all know that is absolutely not the case (*cough* Gerings *cough*)!

Christel seems lile she really wants to do Dirty Soap and she just got a divorce. I'd rather see her than fake Jenna Gering whining about being a stay at home mom in that huge house (and it looks like she has a nanny as well so STFU Jenna)

Galen is hilarious! He had a couple of funny one-liners. After Jenna says, "Galen will probably kill me if that (getting multiple babies at one time) happens." Galen responds, "I'm going to kill myself first." LOL Then the porn scene, "Well, it looks like I'm going to give a sample whether I want to or not."

Brandon and JP doing the "model" walk was funny too.

The question about whether you got peed on was gross! I'm assuming that was a fetish question.

The humour on the show is pretty good - mainly from the guys.

Does anyone else find it weird, that we have seen all of these Farah/Nadia interactions, but during the times Nadia and Kirsten were in the same places, they did not show them talking? They had to have talked/catched up with each other too. I dont know i just think thats weird.

I know she deserved it, but i cannot imagine that awkward feeling Farah had when she was being chewed out by Kirstens sister in law. I was thinking that as soon as the call finished, she was going to mouth "Bitch" LOL. I can so see her doing that.

The party at the Gerings looked like fun, however its frusterating trying to keep track up all the other soap stars they invited. I spotted Mark Hapka, Patrick Muldoon, Ashley Jones, and a few others but i'm sure there was more.

That's terrible about Christel getting a divorce, As much as i dislike her as Lily, Its terrible that she just had a kid and now this happend.

The only two Y&R people i think would look good on dirty soap are Michelle Stafford, and Victoria Rowell. Given their drama, i would love to see what they would have to say to each other, In some aspects they are like the Kirsten and Farah of Y&R, except we know the real reason they aren't friends anymore of course....

Poor Kirsten, thats so sad and she is already going through so much.

I disagree, i think FF comes off the lease enjoyable actually. I think kelly comes off the best.

Honestly, he is like that. He is a pretty humble, down to earth guy. It wasnt like he thought he was hideous or anything, just felt shy about the situation and if its not something you do all the time i get that, looking like a greek god or not. Filming something or taking photos is much diff than a runway show.

Its to bad Y&R wouldnt let anyone join the show.

I think they just put too many people. Really, the daily life of most people, even actors, isn't very interesting. I would have had Nadia and Brandon, Kristen, and really not a lot of the others. I guess Farah, for drama, but sometimes I think people are tired of nasty drama for the sake of it on reality shows.
