I hated RJ and Tea together and really hated that awful haircut. I dont really think she really had any good pairings after Todd left. Didnt they also try her with John? I thought she and Antonio could have worked but they never went there

She was with John for a while before RJ, I think.

I never could see Todd/Tea (this Todd) as a real relationship. It seems like the show no longer does either.

Thanks for showing that OLTL promo. Its great to see more Ed and Carla, even if its in a promo.

And was it just me or did Carla look drunk?

God forgive me for lol'ing at this, but I only did because that is not the first time I have read someone make that comment about EH's acting. The fact is, she did struggle with alcoholism. I do not know if and how that manifest itself onscreen. She also trained at the Actors Studio in the golden age and she has a certain physical style that a lot of those actors had. EH's gestures are reminiscent of Geraldine Page's in particular.

which is pretty ironic bc when they reunited the characters under TSJ, they wrote them more real than they ever were. Probably bc TSJ didnt have the same hang ups about being in a romantic relationship that RH did. The show has dismantled any connection Tea had with the real Todd and firmly defined Victor Jr as her soulmate. I really thought tey'd have her struggle with her feelings for the original but she never did and didnt want him in any way shape or form. That showed me that her love for VictorJr was real bc Todd has always been her weakness in the past and she really is over and done with him

. I wonder if thatgs why she left in 1980. She said she left for her own health and I have seen a May 1980 clip of Carla as well, when I compare her work there to her work in 1983 and 1984, its just completely different.

Yeah, that May '80 ep is still up on YT. I liked Carla throwing shade on Ed and Karen living in the same building. In the episodes I've seen from that era, Judith Light and Al Freeman always had an interesting vibe.

I wish I could remember who started that gossip thread a few years ago mentioning that Robin and Al used to be an item to which someone humorously remarked, "Lawd now I done heard it all..."

#OLTL fans might enjoy this 2011 montage created by the brilliant Teresa Cicala and first screened at our wrap party. vimeo.com/33610960
