February 17, 201411 yr Member I had high hopes that Tusk or Jackie would have made a worthy match for our lead. I don't think it's time yet. I finished Season 2. Not time that the house of cards tumbles.
February 17, 201411 yr Member Well Hubby and I spent 13 quality hours together over the weekend and we watched all 13 Season 2 episodes (well they're only 45 minutes, but you know what I mean). The begginning and the end were perfection. Some of the stuff in the middle dragged. I'm already impatient for Season 3 though, so I guess it did what it was supposed to. I'm already missing it, so I will watch again. I love that Remy has a bigger role and I like the new House Whip Jackie. Great addition to the cast.

So about 4.5 million people. Also http://variety.com/2014/digital/news/netflix-original-series-seeing-awards-season-bump-1201066841/# Of course, no Netflix Q&A with analysts is complete without murky references to the company’s original-content prowess that come suspiciously devoid of actual numbers. At one point, Sarandos suggested that Netflix was capable of fielding audiences for particular programming on par with a cable-TV-sized viewership. “When you look at numbers of a cable show and people are tuning in on a Sunday night, Netflix can dwarf that number,” he said, stopping short of specifying any program in particular on TV or Netflix. Still, it’s rare to see Netflix offer even a ballpark figure like that. Edited February 17, 201411 yr by rhinohide
February 18, 201411 yr Member Season 2 is a huge improvement over the first season mostly because Kate Mara's character is gone . And once they got rid of that other unessential character it got even better. But goodness, where else is there for Frank to go after the presidency? Global domination? Who is he, Doctor Doom?
February 18, 201411 yr Member I'm about to watch the last two episodes of season 2, I just wanted to way wow to the Frank/Claire relationship....I knew it was interesting, but daaaamn
February 19, 201411 yr Member I don't think it's time yet. I finished Season 2. Not time that the house of cards tumbles. Is there going to be a season 3? I thought I'd read that Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright wanted to move on to other things, so this was the last season.

I think S3 will be about The House Of Cards tumbling down . It just has to happen. There's something incestuously creepy about them.
February 19, 201411 yr Member I find their bond so fascinating. Definitely one of the most interesting relationships I can think of on tv in the last few years. I actually admire their strange strange loyalty to one another.
February 24, 201411 yr Member I found myself cheering during the last ten minutes of the season. I guess I'm in the minority with my feelings of being totally okay with the Underwood's always seemingly coming out on top. I think this season, they actually got hit with way more twists and turns on their way to the top. I loved it but now I'm sad I'm done.

But it's so good, I will watch it again. I loved his "knock knock knock" at the end. It actually startled me. I hear that S3 is suspended for now because Maryland, where this is filmed, is apparently going to raise taxes on blah blah blah (that's what I hear immediately following the word "tax") and until it's resolved before the House of Delegates, they aren't going to tape. FWIW.

April 25, 201411 yr Member Started season 2. Episode 1 had a virtually perfect ending with Frank talking to the camera for the first time in the episode saying "You thought I forgot about you, or perhaps you'd hoped I did." And, then, the cuff links Meecham gave him: "F U" LMAO Amazing. Zoe's death was great. Don't miss her and I kinda saw it coming but it was great nonetheless. Rachel and Douglas have a nicely complicated dynamic. I enjoy watching them. I'm also liking Jackie although I feel it's becoming a problem that there is no worthy adversary for Frank. We all know the drill: He has a plan, there will be some obstacle, by episode's end he will be victorious. In the beginning, it was fun, but after having murdered two people already, it's not as much fun watching him win all the time. He needs a serious antagonist, someone who could very well win against him. I hope they go that way soon (but don't tell me!).
