GH: Guza possibly OUT???

LOL, the mags are fighting over legitimacy. I feel like ABC Soaps in Depth is more believable in terms of comings and goings to be honest.

I guess whoever started this rumor didn't realize that it would very unlikely for Guza to be fired on the heels of his General Hospital beating out Y&R in the 18-49 Women demographic. Not to mention -- since we've started spinning tales of Anne Sweeney coming down from on high -- the people in the network tower would not fire the showrunner of their best performing show before they'd fire the showrunners of their worst. I think, if anything, this was spun out of high hopes since Guza's contract is likely coming up on an option. Didn't he (with Pratt) return to GH early April 2002?

It's not the first time SOD and SID have contradicted each other. It'll be hilarious if next week a new HW is announced for GH

Your right. If anything this will proably make his contract even longer. That's a major feat for GH to beat Y n R in demos and knocked B&B from its no 2 spot. Very odd rumor.

They beat them for like a week, one week out of 52, yeah that's not much for ABC to brag about

It's rare even for GH and do you honestly see it happening again? I don't

I do. If they done it once they can do it again.. Anything is possible in the soap world. When JER returned to Days back on 02 or 03 I knew then anything can happen in soaps.

I admire your optimism but I doubt it will happen again. It's a once in a lifetime thing anymore

I'm bummed for GH, but kinda happy for AMC. I mean, K&S are killing no doubt, but Guza would have murdered it with a smile. Like MMT, ugh.

Unless Guza quits, he will be there to shovel the last bit of dirt on GH's coffin. If Frons was going to fire him, it would have happened a long time ago.
