That was so sweet, he loves himself some Lucci

Just a question, who is he (besides being super adorable and hot)?

I loved that interview too. Andy Cohen is so 2011. He represents some of the best of what this new decade is all about.

His Susan Lucci impression is perfect, *slows speech, amps up the sincerity and only uses proper names: "Andrew Cohen, I could never forget you?"*

The only thing that was missing was La Lucci's trademark *wide smile, smile with eyes* "Thaaaannnk YOU, VERY Much!"

I love DaytimeFan's love of Andy Cohen and Susan Lucci. But, DaytimeFan, which decade? This new one, that has just begun? 2011–2020? And what would those qualities be? I always thought he was a hated person behind the scenes, but loved by those who watch his Bravo appearances.

BTW, did he just have eye surgery? He seems to have a cold or something too.

I love Andy and Susan. Love. Love. Love.

This new decade we're in now, 2011-2020. The qualities that Andy represents to me are the following:

-confidence

-authenticity

-fun

-allowing yourself to be happy

-hopefulness

-positivity

-the ideal mix of shrewd and goofy

Andy is a personification of happy savvy.

I have never heard negative things about Andy, he's well liked by talent and production companies.

:) I love those.

Does Andy have a place in LA? I think he lives in the West Village.

I read somewhere he once drunk-dialled Anderson Cooper and said: Don't be tardy for the party! He can be fun.

No, Andy only has a place in NYC.

Andy DID drunk dial Anderson Cooper on the air, he was in a limo with one of the Housewives (I think it was Nene) and they called him during a commercial break.

I'm looking forward to Andy's memoir, the Lucci bookending is going to be particularly moving I think. Born in 1968 he actually hasn't known a world without Susan Lucci...I really would like to see her on his show solo. It'd be great TV. His Emmy reel show.

I'm sure La Lucci will make an appearance on his show as soon as the book launches. How could she not? I can't wait to see Andy sweat in the presence of his idol.

Not that Andy Cohen has any obligation to air two dead soaps, but I have always wondered why nobody gives him any s#it for refusing to broadcast AMC & OLTL on Bravo. Yet, when Oprah does the same thing, she is villified as the worst person in the world (save Brian Frons). This double standard is disgusting.

Andy Cohen does not own or run Bravo.

Carl, Wikipedia (which could be wrong) says that Cohen is the Executive VP of Original Programming and Development at Bravo, so he clearly has some say in the matter. In any event, none of the ABC soap fans have ever shown anger at any Bravo executive for refusing to pick-up AMC or OLTL. This wrath is reserved for just Oprah.

One huge irony here is that the Nixon soaps would fare far better on a successful network like Bravo than on a badly struggling network like OWN.
