JR is another sadist (just like Rylee). They take pleasure in the pain of others. JR keeps telling Annie to be patient. My God, how long does she have to wait? He knows she's fragile and suffering. In Annie's words, "JR, you're OUT!". I wouldn't care if Annie tire ironed him at this point.

He's adorable!

IMO, JR is treating Annie worse than Ryan did. Ryan at least at one point cared about her/acted like he cared about her. He acted/thought/maybe really did love her. JR has never acted like he loved Annie, even though she loves him. I think that JR is really only looking out for himself, to the point to where he doesn't even care if the stuff he's doing is pushing Annie even farther over the edge. He just wants to cover his own hide.

I think that Babe's/and people's bad treatment of him over the years, affects the way he's acting now. . He's responsible for his own actions, but I think he's partly driven by the fact that people are always hurting him, trying to take his child away from him. And I also think that causes him to be selfish. I think that all he seems to really care about this point is holding onto AJ. And in a way I can understand that, because people are always trying to take AJ from him. But Annie's kind of paying the price for that, in addition to mistakes she's making right now.

I don't think he's ever loved Annie either. Maybe the writers could have had him eventually feel that way towards her. But he has treated Annie pretty awfully since they were put in each other's orbits. At one point he pretty much hated Annie. I think that what he feels for her is mostly just lust. I think that the most romantic he ever got with his feelings regarding Annie, was when he tried to stop her wedding to Scott. But he still didn't admit/confess that he loved her then.

That was more like a " I feel something for you, let's just see where things go" type of thing. Even though I think Annie really wanted him to admit his love for her during the wedding and if he had, I think that would have stopped her from marrying Scott.

Maybe there's a small chance he might say he loves her right, after she goes completely crazy/ right before she is carted off to Oakhaven. But I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't say that.

I saw JR act in love several times and although I can't exactly say with certainly that he is in love now, since there is really nothing in the writing to back it up for the last 2 months, I also don't see him in only in lust either since he is still clinging onto Annie despite the fact that he could lose his son. If it was just a bootycall, you don't do that.

The writing for JR and Annie as a pairing has been bloody awful since they returned from DC and despite them being the major reason for me watching AMC, I still have to admit AMC overall has been pretty darn good and soapy.

I still prefer Scott and Greenlee snarking and I think RB and DC just click but I must admit that the Scott and Madison scenes were rather cute today.

Trent Gareett sure is hot...too bad about the acting.

JR is a friggin A-HOLE! He used Annie and threw her under the bus today. This is why they should have NEVER gotten together. Their one night stand should have been it. I feel so bad for her bc "loving" him has been so toxic. He callously broke her apart and destroyed her. I hate the bastard and I hope she goes crazy on his ass

    • I'm fighting for my life on another board for my husband Brandon and I'll do it here too lmao
    • I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
    • Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.
    • You've been seeing him all along. You just didn't know it was him, I guess.

    • Where to for Dana? She's pissed off the Duprees (most of the cast), alienated her daughter and will she be welcomed by the Have Nots at the diner? Maybe she can befriend Ashley and Derek and liven up their story.
    • Melissa Ordway announced she was moved to recurring back in November but is still credited with the contract cast members.
    • I think of Evan as a smarmy bast*rd. Maybe you'll like that description. You certainly have him pegged correctly since he is just a soldier following "Admiral" Iris's marching orders.
    • So far the only interest I've seen from Evan to Amanda has been listening to Iris's orders to go and seduce her.  So far he hasn't been successful... but who knows. Amanda is unbearable at times. Entitled, spoiled... idiotic. Iris... so blatantly manipulating her and Amanda takes the bait. But I guess... when she gets in trouble... she'll have a chance to learn. That's what makes these shows so interesting.    Oh, no, don't worry. You haven't ruined a thing. Evan has not been on my radar that much... he was not one of the characters I was caring particularly... so nothing much has been changed for me. I don't think he has the stuff to ruin Rachel's life. He's just a pretty guy that can follow orders. Iris on the other hand... is dangerous.

P.S Maybe Evan will surprise me. Who knows.
    • The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.
