That's a shame. I like those pictures - she certainly was following the style trends of the day, with the long straight hair and the Gloria Steinem aviator glasses.

I can see why they hired Barbara Stanger to replace Donna Mills as Laura. The resemblance is uncanny.

Thanks for the clip! I only watched this show occasionally and when I did it was mainly because of Andrea Marcovicci and Leon Russom. I actually thought she was quite striking in looks. Definitely captured your attention. I think they also were a couple in real life at the time.

Andrea was beautiful, it's just that today soap people would say she was unattractive - she'd have to be a twig with fake lips and a bad bleach job.

I wonder if they knew of the cancelation when they were filming this.

Variety March 13th 1968

Nancy Hsueh, has been out of sight in recent weeks, and reliable word has it that she-and the part of "Mia" that she played-won't be back. This can hardly surprise anyone who's kept pace with the story convolutions this new daytime strip has gone though since its establishment last fall in the web's afternoon drama.

I posted this the first time about 4 years back, but wanted to ask again.

I was reading in a January 1968 TV Picture Life daytime roundup thing, and in the section for LIAMST, they say that before the show began airing, Leslie Charleson replaced Brooke Mills.

Have any of you ever heard anything about this?

It is true, Carl. Irna was dissatisfied with Brooke Mill and had her replaced just before the series went to air.

Thanks. (and I guess Sam didn't last long either) I've never seen her but I know she was in some B-movies. Have you ever seen her?
