And my bad the character Nina dated for a few months was Brett Nelson not Greg the actor or the AMC character lol. I do remember the soap press made it know that Greg Lauren was related to Ralph Lauren.

Also the only other thing I had to point out was Michael Damian was long gone by this point but still in the opening credits. (His final scenes complete with Christine’s final rejection and disgust of him in July was very hilarious to me at the time.)

I wonder if Tony would still have been killed on New Year’s 2000 by Tricia’s vehicular manslaughter if Nick had still been in the role. I don’t think the replacement Jay B was as popular.

I know Tony and Megan had their fans and I recall Jones and Bontatibus had chemistry but Jay B, may he RIP was also probably too old be playing Tony. Scotti probably was too but ya know gay men never look their age 😂

Regardless I feel like Tony still would’ve been killed off even if Scotti was in the role. Or at the very least Tony and Megan written off into the sunset in early 2000. Despite the buildup Tony and Megan’s forbidden young love arc was quickly eclipsed by the start of Billy and Mac. Also characters like Cole, Grace, and Callie were all written out around the same time period making room for the even younger Glo by Jabot teen set

Nick Scotti will be 60 this coming may! (as will Scott Reeves too which is kind of crazy) On the show he definitely looked more mid 20's then 30 when he started.

BTW people’s aversion to Tony always felt contrived to me. What was the big deal? He was such a sweet guy. Maybe it’s because he was a biker? Because he was Italian? To this day I still struggle to understand. And if there was an age difference, I did not perceive it. Megan, as beautiful as she was, didn’t read as young as Mac to me.

Marcia Rodd's character Myrna Bloodworth was revealed to be the wife of Ashley Abbott's biological father Brent Davis. She didn't really do much in her appearances. The storyline was about her son Graham who wanted revenge on Dina by manipulating and marrying Dina himself while Dina had Alzheimer's and didn't understand the situation. He said he was doing this for his mother but I don't remember his mother being invested in his revenge plot -- he was just doing it for himself.

Thanks @janea4old I can always count on you. Doesn't sound like much but at least it helped pay for her health insurance.

Does anyone maybe have a list of pre-emptations throughout the history of Y&R and are willing to share? Or if it exists somewhere online already? I am interested in other soaps too in case you know where to find this info. Thank you :)
