Thanks!, that was a pretty awesome promo! I love the shot of Lauren in the beginning with her sunglasses and Danny's (I think) reflection in them...

Here are the last 2 of those new March 92 uploads

Thanks for finding that...I wonder if that's from Michael Tylo himself because of the username....

It's nice to see more of Blade and Rick despite the negative things about this story.....it's miles ahead of the double Yack crap....

Why do I get a bad feeling now that Double Yack is going to turn out to be Rick, just so Victor can cause Ashley more grief....

Thanks again.

I mostly remember how dull Blade was and I think that tanked the story for many, as he was around for several years before any twists.

Tylo is mostly doing a bad Jack Nicholson impression as Rick, but it seems like it put more life into his playing of Blade.

Whoa.....Jill and Michael were walking fire hazards with the amount of mousse in their hair and Brittany sporting the 1989 Texas Beauty Queen look. Speaking of hair LOL at Jack's comment about Lisa (That pile of hair).

I always wondered why Colby Chester (Michael Crawford) was written out. He was on till about 1991.

I know he was having his second affair with Nikki around the same time-frame but what was Jack's exact motivation for getting Ruthless published?

That late 1993 ep was fabulous it largely a quiet, slow average ep yet ended explosively!

Going back to the Blade/Rick story unfortunately the week of December 1995 episodes dealing with the aftermath have been removed but the best thing they did to save the story's denouement was getting Jill involved.

Nikki's reaction was great! and I loved how Nikki assumed it was Ryan at first....You have to consider that the Cole/Victoria affair was probably a well hidden secret and you have Nikki who was also involved with the same man who was just thinking there may still be a chance, after her returned from the dead ex-husband rejected her too...Nikki never knew what hit her which made the scene even more great IMO...

I wish I would have saved those December 1995 episodes myself...I wonder what month that clip was from though....I thought they started the story took a break then resumed it later cause Brenda Epperson was off the show due to maternity leave till she left for good December 1995?

    • I'm pretty sure this ep is  from Dec 73 From the Daytime Serial Newsletter Ian and Valerie Northcote are deeply concerned over Laurie's  life being increasingly dominated by hallucinations and fantasies about Georgina, the former owner of the house the Reddins recently bought and are now living in. Doreen Post (Linda Purl) was involved in that story .Perhaps she was going to be revealed as Georgina's daughter? Wonder how that story evolved and whether it was wrapped up before cancellation? and thanks to @skylark

    • Many thanks to @skylark and @DRW50!
    • Thank u so much! I love that show and the more I see of it the more I want to find more of it even if it’s just in script form. But that house and especially the room looked like Victoria Winters room from dark shadows lol  this was great find! Thanks
    • I genuinely thought when they said she had been throwing up, we were going to get a pregnancy story. I’m actually not convinced we aren’t. Especially the way she and Doug danced around her own infidelity.
    • Shouldn't it be the other way? I don't think Taylor Hayes is playing Rebecca Budig.

    • And the most detailed discussion I've seen from an industry figure about some of JFP's worst choices as a producer (steamrolling over writers) was from another woman, Megan McTavish.
    • IMDb is definitely incorrect, because the final week of episodes in 1974 is uploaded to Youtube in audio form, and Mark and Laurie are there until the very end. The last episode shows Mark going back to the priesthood. I looked at the newspaper and the earliest reference to their house being haunted by Georgina is in December of 1973. This is dated Dec 14, but this same synopsis ran in the papers until the end of December in other publications. So it must have been within those last 3-4 months. I think Stephanie Braxton joined around 1969-1970 so that's probably right. I saw it stated in other newspapers that David Gale joined around September 1972.

    • Opal having siblings could add to the story. However, it raises questions about Tad's adoption. Why were the Martins allowed to adopt him if Tad had aunts or uncles who could have cared for him?  Logic limited the number of possible Gardner's (and whatever Opal's maiden name was).  Even though Linda Thorson would have been a hysterical choice given her British accent.  Especially because SOD often published questions by readers who wondered why Tad and Jenny didn't speak like their mother.   All of which is still not an excuse for Tad's evil doppelgänger Ted.
