Thanks for posting this SOD synopses Carl!,

Did they even make it a big thing when Jill and Dru lived under the same roof?. I know Dru mentioned it in the 1992 Christmas Eve episode i uploaded, but it seems like Jill and Dru were too busy in their own lives to really interact as houseguests, and Dru quickly married Neil.

That party that Jack threw for Jill sounds like fun, I'm glad John put his foot down with Victor though. I wonder if Nikki had anything to say about Jill and Victor. It's amazing how in the early 90's (even before that) The Jill and Nikki animosity wasn't played onscreen till the late 90's/early00's and onward.

No Scott and Lauren mentioned in this one, must have been a quiet week for them.

They did. Granted i have never seen those episodes, but i read 1995 updates from the Google Message Boards. And there was once a youtube video that showed Dru,Olivia and Mamie go over to the Abbott house to confront Jill. Again hopefully more of those full scenes will come back up so we can see them in their glory.

Was race ever implied as a reason why Jill was so hostile? I know when Dru first started it seemed like there might be some class/race issues addressed on the canvas.

I wasn't able to watch that much at the time, so I mostly remember Dru with her family.

Somewhat.

The racial implication was definitely there (as was Jill's later issues with Mamie) however Bill kept Jill's overt issues to class.

Jill didn't feel Drucilla was "model material" & hated her outspoken personality (though she grudgingly respected Dru's ambition).

Drucilla admired Jill for her accomplishments & wanted to be like her (except for Jill's attitude ).

That first scene is a real masterclass in acting. And the second just makes it even better...

I can't believe Katharine and Larry are so casually discussing Jill's bedroom games! Oh my.

It's great that stuff is getting uploaded from early 1990 (before the Sheila Saga)

Great scenes between Jack and John. Hard to believe that Peter was only playing Jack for about 3 months when this episode aired, but he really gave it all for this scene. I wonder if this is one of the scenes that won him his 1991 emmy?

I'm shocked that Jim was still on at this point.

Great seeing more of Adrian. Unfortunately from what i heard, he was part of the reason the Cassandra story went on forever.

    • I almost posted this because that was my initial reaction too:  this is weird/cringe, to sing around a piano after such a huge family shattering bomb was dropped.  But I got over that and just enjoyed her voice, the song and the montage we saw as everyone's emotions in the aftermath were pouring out.
    • The Equalizer original series was not a big hit yet it became a movie franchise and got a reboot series. The Equalizer reboot lasted 5 seasons, so one season longer than the original series.

His social media/IMDb doesn't have his age but from some posts he's made, I'm guessing 1989 is his birth year.
    • Here's the timeline, as I recall it being published. The WGA strike was 5/2–9/27/2023 Annalynne McCord was announced as being hired in December 2023, for a one-year contract https://deadline.com/2024/06/days-of-our-lives-when-to-expect-annalynne-mccord-peacock-1235975806/ RonC's first scripts back from the strike began airing May 31, 2024 (around Konstantine & Maggie's wedding) https://www.tvinsider.com/1137709/days-of-our-lives-writers-return-15000th-episode-storylines/ Her first air date was June 19th 2024. The actress has said she was not told who she would be playing until she started taping. RonC 's replacements were announced July 2024, with his scripts airing through April 2025 Side note: DAYS social media team seems to be playing fast and loose with BTS videos, in terms of how far in advance they film content (e.g. their April Fools' Joke videos were clearly not filmed on 4/1/25), so we shouldn't assume anyone's current status, versus those who were there nine months ago.
    • April and her husband (Draper) are the "young leads" who tie all the storyline threads together.  They're normally in the center of the action.  In this particular storyline, Draper is the attorney who represents Paige Madison.  (The district attorney, Logan Swift, has given Paige Madison "temporary immunity from prosecution" if she will lead the police to the members of the Tobias Gang who stole the firearms.  But Paige mainly just ducks bullets from various gang members who pop-up to assassinate her.)
    • It's one thing to post about a soap's rumors or gossip, which in point of fact we've all done. It's another to present yourself as the inside source who knows something to be fact that's about to break wide, then backtrack and call it just Twitter speculation. Between those two extreme poles you have to commit to one or the other. If I got something wrong, I'd say it. (Nor would I keep playing insider after what I pulled with Drake Hogestyn, which should've gotten someone permanently banned.) And regardless, you don't open with this 'news' you don't actually want to stand by yet by mocking DRW's extremely valid concerns re: how the Trina character and Tabyana Ali has been marginalized and put out to virtual pasture ever since the day NAC left. Her playing out her current contract in a C-storyline with Kai does not change that.
    • Yeah, I thought it would be more explosive or heated and it was kind of standard.  Both can do more with the material.  I just don't think the writing was there.
    • Daphnée and TMG are on Instagram live (as we speak) and are saying they don’t know why Maurice left.
