Given TWD's popularity, if Andrew Lincoln sticks around, I think that we really could get another 5 seasons after next season. I know that seems like a lot, but it is only 16 episodes per season and AMC is so cheap that the show does not cost a lot.

And the way they kill of characters, they aren't going to have the high costs that seasons 8 and beyond often entail for other shows. I keep waiting for NCIS to be crushed for that reason, even though it's the number 1 show, depending on how you look at it.
