Monday at 05:50 PM1 day Member BLAIR DAVIES & GENE PETERSON:Two recent "Days" actors finally found in records are Blair Davies (Judge Weedman, 1966) and Gene Peterson (Peter Larkin, 1969-1970). Note that Davies, who was born 10/5/1905, fibbed about his age on his WWII card and said he was born in 1907. The Peterson article is from 2/8/59.Here's articles on both of them, as well as their World War II cards featuring their signatures.[ Edited Monday at 05:52 PM1 day by JAS0N47
Monday at 08:04 PM1 day Author Member Thanks so much @JAS0N47 if you don't post those articles in the LOL and Brighter Day threads, could I?Do you know when that Peterson article is from? He's mainly listed as being on LOL in 1958. They give him more of a billing in the article than I thought he had on the show.I like what he said about the 85 year old fan knowing more than the director. Soap fans, especially back then, had to be sharp.Davis & Davies would have been a great team for a bill.

Although I just research Days, I'm glad it also helps other soaps too! The Duluth News Tribune 2/8/59 for the Gene Peterson article. Edited Monday at 08:51 PM1 day by JAS0N47

22 hours ago22 hr Member RECENT RESEARCH FINDS FINAL CAST MEMBER...Thanks to recent research, the last contract cast member never to be located was finally found! Michael Bays, who played Julio Ramirez, basically disappeared after leaving "Days." Some additional articles have recently been added to the newspaper archives which helped locate his real name. I always thought Constantino was his last name, but it turns out it is his first name! His name is Constantino Basile. A lawsuit mentioning him makes the connection official: "Michael Bays - Plaintiff's stage name while acting in television."Meanwhile, any guesses as to which twins from "Days" these are? They are now both in college.
1 hour ago1 hr Member DAYS ACTOR TURNS TO CRIME...Here's an interesting one I stumbled upon as I've been updating the actor birthdays and full names this month.Gary McGurrin, who played Roy Hazeltine for 15 episodes on Days from 1977-1978 turned to crime shortly after leaving the show: Edited 1 hour ago1 hr by JAS0N47
1 hour ago1 hr Member @JAS0N47 Fascinating story. Who was Ray in the show? I wonder what happened to McGurrin after this? Surely a prison sentence.
